But today we got very disappointing. The food took 40 mins!! The server placed the order to kitchen after 20 mins she took the order. Also only one server cleaning all the tables which seems really bad. They should have more people working at the front. I think also the server is still in training I understand but you should do better overall.
As a Hanoian, this was a pleasant surprise. All of the items we tried were authentic northern vietnamese cuisine. Haven't had gi? c?y in 10 years, & my wife was shocked that we could find it here lol. One of the best pho & best vietnamese restaurants in North America.
p/s: to owner, will you add qu?y (youtiao) to the menu? 👀
My favourite Vietnamese restaurant because it is super authentic, the only place where pho soup doesn't taste like MSG & makes you so thirsty like hell after. I'd recommend their pho & grills. The green papaya salad is ok but a bit small.
But Bun Bo Hue really needs some improve, it tastes plain & nothing like the authentic one (the special fragrance for Bun Bo Hue is missing) but overall it's amazing! The grills were good!
We visited this restaurant with my mom & my aunt, & it was one of the best Vietnamese food experiences we've had in Montreal
We ordered the **Special Nam Dinh Pho**, & it was absolutely delicious. The broth tasted just like authentic Northern Vietnamese pho-rich, comforting, & incredibly flavorful without the overpowering five-spice aroma that is so common in many pho restaurants overseas. It truly reminded us of home.
My aunt, who has lived in Canada for many years, said this was the first time she had eaten a bowl of pho that tasted this authentic. That says a lot.
The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, & has the warm feeling of a family-run place where you can relax & enjoy a great meal.
If we ever visit Montreal again, this restaurant will definitely be one of our first stops. I'll also be recommending it to all of my friends. Thank you for bringing such authentic Northern Vietnamese flavors to Canada!
Amazing authentic Vietnamese, best chicken broth I've ever had. Large portions, sauces made in house, nice service. Gluten friendly menu
The pho was amazing , the owner was really nice , he makes all the sauces in the restaurant & it's very authentic pho , i got pork belly appetizer , two large pho soups , a Vietnamese coffee & a mango smoothie for 60$ my girlfriend & I left with a full stomach
I definitely recommend this place for everyone.
The food was superb! Coming from a Northen Vietnamese, 10/10 for how tasty & authentic everything tasted, especially the pho with fresh rice noodles. It took a bit long to wait for the food to come, but it was well worth it. For anyone ordering a pho, I would recommend pairing it with a poached egg. Definitely will visit this restaurant again the next time we come back to Montreal.
To my surprise, this was the best Vietnamese meal of my entire Canada trip, from Vancouver to Toronto & finally Montreal. The'M1' dish, with its rich, thick stew-like broth, is an absolute must, along with their Vietnamese iced coffee. it's as authentic as it gets. The portions are incredibly generous, so come hungry! I'm already looking forward to coming back to try their grilled pork with broken rice. Highly recommended!
Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Fast & friendly service. Very popular with locals. Would go back any time.
