All the sushi that was being prepared had a great aspect, & if I came back I would try it. Service was slow at the time / disconnected for the prices the restaurant is doing (no refill on water all service…). For reference, someone next to me was ording the 7 moments menu & it was taking soooo much time, I would ask the server how much time it takes before ordering it. Not a big fan of the'cafe del mar vol. 6' style music for a quick lunch on a rainy day, but it was now loud so I had no problem with it.
We sat at the sushi bar. We were lucky enough to be there while they were preparing a bluefin tuna & had some belly. & a pair of nigiris of toro we ordered. Delightful.
One word: EXCEPTIONAL
What an experience I just had, watching Chef Park & his team put together such exquisite sushi creations out of top-notch ingredients. It was an experience like no other. Don't be intimidated to sit at that sushi bar, that's where the magic happens!- I absolutely can't wait to go back!
Park is an absolute MUST-TRY. Amongst the great dining options in Montreal, Park is a stand out for the Japanese/Korean cuisine. The restaurant is decorated in a modern & upscale manner. Simple wood finishes & lovely marble cuts accentuate the open kitchen & sushi bar.
The food is unbelievable. We started with the wagyu sando & the first bite was out of this world. Topped with caviar & gold flakes, the minced wagyu had the perfect texture & you wanted to immortalize that bite in time. We split the regular & the premium sushi platters. Both are fantastic. The premium comes with caviar, uni & toro. Both platters come with a medley of sauces - the house soya sauce, a ponzu sauce, chimichurri & a carrot-based sauce. The fish is so fresh; we were exclaiming over each & every bite. Just an unbelievable platter of seafood. To top it off, we finished with the tout chocolate. The chocolate mousse is so light but the dish is bigger than it looks in photos. We practically had to roll out of the restaurant.
Also, shoutout to the host. He was top notch. Jovial, informative, had jokes to keep it light. Great banter.
Park is for the memory books. We'll be coming back to Montreal just to go another time.
Nobody does it better than Chef Antonio. By far the best sushi I've had in Montreal. Great experience
Absolutely incredible experience. If you live sushi this place is a MUST!
My husband & I came here to celebrate his birthday & loved the whole experience. We had the sushi platter & the premium sushi platter plus cockatils & digestives. Everything was divine from the ambiance, service, the food & the drinks. The fish & seafood were very fresh & it literally took us back to Japan!
Une expérience inoubliable, les poissons sont tous exceptionnelles, ça fond en bouche ! Meilleurs sushis du Québec !
My expectations was higher that the food we received we got a beef tartare it was missing some salt the nigiri was good but they put wasabi in it so if you don't like wasabi like me it's ruin the experience the other sushi was ok Chocolat dessert was very good For the price I was expecting more
