The sushi was so delicious & the service was hands down the best… I wish I got the serve's name… she was so attentive, friendly calm, composed & helpful. I went for lunch on a Monday.
Very good food & very good service too.
Yes, it's on the pricier side, but that's what good food in a beautiful place in a nice neighborhood costs.View more
We had dinner here for my birthday & the whole experience was incredible start to finish. They have amazing staff that very obviously work together well & are happy to be there. We got the premium platter for two & it was more than enough -- we were stuffed & it was so fresh, such high quality food & drinks, I could not have had a better meal.View more
Top Japanese Restaurant Park delivers an exceptional dining experience. The fish is remarkably fresh, offering a clean & refreshing taste in every bite. The presentation of the dishes is unique & thoughtfully designed, showcasing true culinary artistry. The atmosphere & design of the restaurant are both elegant & welcoming, creating an ideal environment for a memorable meal. The highlight of the experience was the attentive service provided by Chef & Owner Antonio Park, who went above & beyond to ensure our comfort & satisfaction. A must-visit for anyone seeking top-quality sushi & professional, personalized service.View more
This place is amazing in all aspects. The quality of food, freshness of the seafood, the value & the service. I have to come every time when i visit Montreal.View more
I had the bibimbap & it was ok - I would like / think there should be more egg in it, but it was ok. All the sushi that was being prepared had a great aspect, & if I came back I would try it. Service was slow at the time / disconnected for the prices the restaurant is doing (no refill on water all service…). For reference, someone next to me was ording the 7 moments menu & it was taking soooo much time, I would ask the server how much time it takes before ordering it. Not a big fan of the'cafe del mar vol. 6' style music for a quick lunch on a rainy day, but it was now loud so I had no problem with it.View more

We sat at the sushi bar. We were lucky enough to be there while they were preparing a bluefin tuna & had some belly. & a pair of nigiris of toro we ordered. Delightful.View more
Cozy & lively space. The service is impeccable. I found the food was average & a bit over priced. Two cocktails, 1 appetizer & 2 lunch combos costed $180View more
I've been to Park many times over the years, but after last night's birthday dinner, I won't be returning. The experience was disappointing from start to finish. I had a crappy birthday. Kind've turned me off of fine dining in general.
First, the reservation process:
Because we were a party of ten, I wasn't allowed to book by phone. Instead, I had to email someone, wait for a reply, then fill out a clunky, poorly formatted form that I had to print & write on by hand, scan, & send back. This is absurd in 2025-especially for a restaurant of this calibre.
Then, the'private room':
I was told we'd have a private room, which sounded promising. Instead, we were seated in Café Bazin, the restaurant's next-door café. Not a Japanese dining room. A French café, with loaves of bread sitting out on the counter that my party members had to stare at while we ate; not the atmosphere one is looking for when they book upscale Japanese restaurant-it felt absurd, improvised. & the room's humidity made us feel like were eating in a greenhouse. The table was sticky. The lights also flickered every 40 minutes, & the temperature was easily above 22.5°C. So much for atmosphere.
Then, the maitre d':
Service from the floor staff was uneven. The maitre d' seemed disengaged & inattentive, did not greet us with grace or even eye contact, & guide my mother to the next door'private dining room' through tightly packed tables instead of using the wider main path. He also inconsistently directed guests-some were told to go through the café entrance from outside, others were led through the restaurant. It felt disorganized & thoughtless.
Then, the service:
Our waitress, to her credit, was kind & professional. But the food pacing was outrageous. We were all seated at 6:30 p.m., & the first course didn't arrive until 7:44 p.m., even though she assured me food would come out quickly given everything was pre-set. Despite being a pre-set menu, the kitchen somehow delivered a three-hour meal where each course was minuscule & fussy, with dishes that leaned more French than Japanese (small, saucy, hardly Japanese-y). Most dishes were tepid, dry, or rubbery-clearly pre-prepared & left under heat lamps. Cringe.
The only sushi we received came as the final course: a modest 6 to 8 pieces per person. For a party meal at a Japanese restaurant, it was the only thing that felt even remotely appropriate, though a large Omakase sushi platter for the whole party to share would've been far more satisfying. Sadly, even those small plates weren't enough to salvage the experience because they too were not particularly fresh.
Park used to be great. I remember its early days, when the sushi was exceptional & the fish was clearly fresh. Those days are long gone. The quality has slipped, the service feels indifferent, & the prices are no longer justified. It now coasts on its Westmount location & local reputation. I won't be back.View more
A really unique culinary experience. Extremely impressed. Everything dramatically exceeded my expectations, including the bill.View more
My wife & I both agreed it's the best Japanese restaurant we've been too(including those we've been too in Japan). On top of that we both agreed the service we received tonight was on par with 3 Star Michelin restaurants.
Antonio created a memorable experience for us & was an amazing host. If you're in Montreal this is the must go to restaurant. There's a reason they've been featured on multiple shows. Because they're amazing.View more
One word: EXCEPTIONAL
What an experience I just had, watching Chef Park & his team put together such exquisite sushi creations out of top-notch ingredients. It was an experience like no other. Don't be intimidated to sit at that sushi bar, that's where the magic happens!- I absolutely can't wait to go back!View more
