We had the beef Scallion Pancake, Laoyo Noodles & Spicy Handmade Noodles with Beef (must try!) & it was excellent! The sweet lady made sure we don't get food that's too spicy or uncomfortable for us to eat. She made some great recommendations. The spot doesn't stand out easily but it's a hidden gem!
We had the homemade beef noodle & it was hands down the absolute best soup I'd ever had. The broth was absolutely amazing. You could tell this had been simmering in a pot for hours. The noodles had the perfect bite to them. The couple that run the place are absolutely delightful.
I would go back to Montreal just for this soup. Life changing.

we had an amazing diner, the food was delicious & really well made even if you don't like spicy food, they can do both :) The waitress was really sweet & she provided the best service I've seen in a long time! thank you :)
We ended up at this restaurant completely by accident. The biggest challenge was finding parking downtown, so we decided to just go into whichever place was closest to where we managed to park. I was really craving soup, specifically ramen, but after such a long & unsuccessful search for parking, we decided to take a chance.
Only after sitting down & looking at the menu did I realize we had made the right choice. The South Chinese cuisine was introduced to us by a very kind, warm, & welcoming hostess. The service was quick, & the food was absolutely delicious.
The soup, in particular, was beyond praise.
Absolutely delicious food & such a lovely woman who owns the spot. The homemade noodles with beef is the perfect amount of spice & pepper. The soup noodles are everything I need when I am feeling sick - so warm & comforting. Make sure to try the honey chinese jelly dessert too!
