Fantastic service & delicious sandwiches! Ordered their Cuban sandwich & Chicken Melt & for once, my partner & I didn't swap sandwiches because we each loved ours so much. Store manager was especially kind & understanding when there was a minor hiccup with my order, I really appreciate it. Will definitely be back to try more of their breakfast/lunch menu & pastries!
Recommended to all my friends, some of whom ordered sandwiches for lunch too. Happy bellies all around :)
Top tier Cuban sandwich, get it. Very crowded though since it's popular.
I have been to o+g on average once a year since it opened. I brought family visiting last week & I will not be doing that again. It was embarrassing, 25$ for the most basic panini grilled cheese, 25$ for the'Cubano' I had with one slice of pork & a few pea sized chunks of pickle, not even a slice of pickle. Bill was 125$ for three paninis & three coffees.
Charming & cozy little place. Food is excellent. I had the Cuban sandwich (spicy paninin)-so good! Love the spicy chipolte mayo. My Daughter had the big dog ans equally tasty. The strawberry 🍓 lemonade & house lemonade are homemade & very refreshing in this 🔥 weather. So good you won't be disappointed.
Stopped here for lunch & it was quite busy so we sat on the bar. The pork cubano sandwich was delicious but it was also 30$ for just the panini sandwich.
The two of us shared a Cuban sandwich, a smashed potato salad & a green salad. We were both very hungry since we skipped lunch but even after sharing everything, we left very full.
Everything we tried had the chef's touch. It was all cooked to perfection with such wonderful & fresh & unique flavors.
We split a Cuban sandwich, which was delicious & perfect for a light lunch.
Espresso was pretty good. They use some good locally roasted coffee so they definitely try.
The Cuban & Eggs on your Face sandwiches were delicious & not too spicy, just enough of a kick. Popular place so the wait time was about 15-20 minutes for a party of 2 but so worth it!
It's a quaint small restaurant that only serves breakfast & lunch.
The Cuban sandwich was delicious. The picture was half a serving as we've a dinner reservation & didn't want to stuff up.
The ginger iced tea was great for a hot day.
We came here because of a show on Netflix called Somebody Feed Phil. It's one of our favourites & we've actively tried to check off several of his recommendations from here to Italy! We had the Cubanos Sandwich & it was absolutely amazing! We were not however able to get a seat, make reservations or sit anywhere close to the location to eat our food as we had a baby stroller with us & it was lined up out the door. We had to wait in the street with a buzzer for about 30 mins & the two sandwiches alone cost us $52 before tip.
Food was tasty but not worth the price. We had their Cuban & Chicken sandwiches. & for the price they're charging, I'd expect more stuff within them.
Seeing no line outside at this renowned café, we jumped right in. The Parisian-style décor was unpretentious & inviting. The service was friendly & helpful. The famous sandwich'Le Cuban' with spicy mayo was delicious. The Canadiano coffee was rich & bold. Many options of viennoiseries available for grab-&-go.
The sweet ricotta toast & Cubano were delicious, but difficult to justify $70 for this & two coffees (dine-in).
The 25 minute wait was worth it & exactly the amount of time they quoted! Great atmosphere with perfect sound level & music. Ricotta toast was perfect balance of sweet & savory. Cuban panini bread was incredible & the sandwich had a nice spicy kick! Will definitely be back.
Food is good but too expensive for the price: A Cuban panini & a raspberry lemonade should not cost 40 dollars!
My husband & I make this a sure stop each time we visit Montreal & each time we go, we are reminded why! The freshness, creativity, & pure deliciousness of their food never disappoints. While some might be sticker shy (it's an incredibly popular area), it's a must try at least once! The Elixir, potato salad, any French toast option, & Cuban panini are all so wonderful. & we are so excited to try some recipes out of the cookbook we purchased on our way out!
The Cuban sandwich costs $30 (tax incl.)! This is beyond crazy expensive!
Edit: came here again after a year & unfortunately the price is super high for worse quality imo. The drinks are so so, only the cuban sandwich is worth getting. - Recommended by our local friend! The cuban sandwich was by far the best panini ive ever had! The peach scone was also amazing, the place is busy & is a bit pricey though.
The panini here is really good, it's the best I've ever had. The croissant wasn't warm & was a bit hard. Panini "Poached egg on your face" 5/5 The Cuban Panini 5/5 Almond Croissant 3/5 Chocolatine 3/5 Sweet Ricotta 3/5
