Loved the ambiance. We were entertained right away at the door. I particularly loved my black tea paired with their homemade almond croissants & the grilled cheese sandwich were NUM! You can tell the cheese they used are of superb quality. Highly recommend this place
Really nice staff & awesome food, from the pastries to the entrees, both the cup & the breakfast sandwich were incredible
There is a wait time depending on what time you are visiting . We are here today on a Sunday at 1.20 pm & we had 20 minutes for for hour for our party of 3. Bakery items are good in taste . The sweet re it's with bread was nice . Also the chicken melt sandwich was good but not Healy thought. We liked the chia bowl & cappuccino. The spot is a nice small spot for breakfast
Oh wow I thought it was a tourist trap & then I ended up getting the most amazing breakfast I've ever had. I just want to come back here every day til I leave EDIT: we ended up going back twice! & it's still amazing! Our favorite restaurant in Montreal (after doing le violon, mon lapin, beba, toque, monarque, etc.)
Everything about this place is just awesome! The service was great, food is delicious, the baking good are so tasty, beautiful design, coffee is great. Love it! We were in Montreal for few days & had there breakfast twice, in addition rook some yummy baked good with us back home.
We had an amazing breakfast. The sandwich was great & the almond croissant was to die for. Great place - Highly recommended.
Really cute little spot! We had breakfast here & it was delicious!!! My husband LOVED the cinnamon brioche & I got the egg on your face panini which was also super good!! We got a couple almond croissants to go & we must have gotten them on an off day because they weren't very good. They were pretty dry & didn't have much flavor. I'd definitely stick with the brioche!
Charming little cafe with amazing coffee & pastries. Had breakfast on my last day in Montreal. The ambiance is reminiscent of a small European cafe. Wish I had found it earlier. Will definitely revisit when I come back to Montreal
Quaint French cafe & bakery with amazing pastries & a solid coffee game. We loved breakfast so much that we went back another day for lunch! Sandwiches were phenomenal, & that salad was top notch too. Servers were all happy & made the experience a joy! & don't sleep on the ricotta & honey. So good!
Great breakfast spot that is both charming & practical. We got the almond croissant & the morning bun which were both tasty, lattes & a breakfast which was also delicious. Great service too. Some people were working there on their laptops, but mostly it was a quaint breakfast spot.
This place is so good for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or for having some tea/coffee with some sweets. They get really busy at times, but the service is fast & everyone end up having a great time. We ordered "The Chicken Melt" & "The Cuban". Both were really fresh & delicious. We sat on the high chairs by the window & enjoyed the view of rue Notre Dame while having our lunch.
Olive & Gourmando is a nice spot for breakfast & lunch. Despite being busy, the service was fast. We enjoyed our cappuccinos & almond croissants, which were delicious. The Cuban sandwich was a standout-packed with flavor & oozing with cheese. Overall, a great place for a tasty meal.
I went for breakfast/brunch as it is very popular in Montreal & usually filled with tourists. I personally did not like the breakfast menu at all - it wasn't particularly delicious & very basic. However, the food is fresh & very well presented. I do believe that you can find better breakfast/brunch in Montreal, & it isn't really worth it here. Nevertheless, I have heard more positive comments about their lunch menu, although it is quite pricey, I think the quality is there.
The breakfast here was an extremely delicious experience including the worlds best potato salad, cakes & coffee. Nice place to visit.
Great pot for breakfast, coffee, & a pastry. We waited about 25 minutes on a busy weekend rainy morning for a table of four. We had the sconewich, sweet ricotta, coffee, & pastries. Everything was great. No complaints for service, everyone was busy & pleasant. Definitely worth a visit. We were told a table for two at that time would have been closer to a fifteen minute wait.
Such a good place to get some items for breakfast! Highly recommend it! We want to try to dine in next time!
Went there for breakfast. Very cute place! All tables are joined together so that 4 people sit together even if from different parties. We tried to wiggle our table further away but the server just slid it right back. We saw other people trying the same. No intimacy or private conversations allowed. Overall servers were either having a collectively bad morning, or the vibes are off as they looked angry & were inpatient. Food was good, but really expensive for the size. 7$ for a very small freshly squeezed orange juice.
Good quality breakfast in a very quaint restaurant. Minus one star for tourist prices.
A busy place. After having breakfast here we understood why. The food was quality made & really delicious. Service was great. Highly recommended, we look forward to returning next time we're in Montreal.
