A small place beside a small hotel. PROS: 1. The decor is luxurious, upper & lower level, even the corridor to the bathroom & the bathroom itself are nicely decorated
2. Spotless clean everywhere; before the meal, we were handed white warm towels on a plate to clean our hands
3. I took the tasting dish, so small quantities to taste a bit of everything. It was delicious, flavourful, i couldn't finish the second plate, i was full.
4. The waiters are bilingual, very respectfull, they explain every dish.

The food was absolutely delicious, the tasting menu is definitely the way to go! Servers were friendly, but before we even finished, in the middle of our dinner the waiter came to ask how we wanted to split the bills as the server was changing. If they knew they were not going to end the service in time I feel like asking at the time of ordering would be less disruptive. Then the replacement server came but disappeared & we were just left waiting to order our desserts. Finally a 3rd person came & said he had an emergency & had to leave so she was taking over. The servers were very pleasant, but I find it was a bit disorganized, though understandably emergencies happen, so I still give service 4 stars. The atmosphere was beautiful but our table was too close to the group next to us & one person was loud & obnoxious which was annoying, especially so close to us. Overall I'd definitely go back!
What a wonderful experience! Booked a table for my daughter's 19th birthday. Food was excellent. Service was friendly, attentive & gracious. Made for a special night. Highly recommend. Will be back.

Une expérience absolument sans faute au Nil Bleu. De l'accueil chaleureux au service attentionné, tout était impeccable. L'assiette est aussi belle que savoureuse & l'accord avec le vin était tout simplement parfait. Le rapport qualité prix demeure imbattable pour une telle finesse. Véritable institution montréalaise, c'est un incontournable que je recommande sans aucune hésitation. Merci à toute l'équipe pour cette soirée mémorable !
Le menu dégustation pour 2 était idéal pour essayer une multitude de plats. C'etait même très copieux. Mon fils que j'ai emmené à ce resto pour célèbrer ses 18 ans a un appetit vorace & il est sorti de là comblé. Belle découverte. Excellent service.
