The cuisine at Le Nil Bleu is composed of lamb, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Le Nil bleu also offers combo plates which allow diners to sample several offerings. Des plats succulents & cuisine éthiopienne authentique! Le service est impeccable & la qualité des aliments est irréprochable! J'ai vais depuis plus de 20 ans plusieurs fois par année & je recommande fortement à toute personne désireuse de faire de belles découvertes culinaires africaines !

this restaurant has been in business for decades in the rapid come-&-go rhythm of Montreal restaurants, a sure mark of quality & good management. from the first step into this lovely restaurant, the smells of delicious food invade your nose & head & all of a sudden, you're STARVING! i always order the tasting menu, sometimes the vegan platter (like last night), sometimes the meat one. they are both savoury & delicious, wrapped in enjera, if there's anything left, i HAVE to take it home for a later meal. The service is elegant & friendly, & the place, even on a Wednesday night, is often packed. reservations highly recommended to avoid disappointment. they now have a terrasse, which on a warm summer night will be a treat.

We have been in Nil Bleu Restaurant twice when we travelled to Montreal & the food is amazing, very special & we liked the atmosphere as well. There is a big selection for vegetarians & vegans as well. Will definitely come back again & highly recommend ti everyone.

Growing up in Ethiopia, I know what authentic Ethiopian food should taste like. My meal at Nil Bleu on St-Denis in Montreal truly brings back those memories every time we dine there. The food is always absolutely finger-licking good, the injera was perfect, & the spicy flavors were spot on.

Even my Canadian grandchildren loved the experience of eating Ethiopian style. A wonderful & authentic dining experience. Highly recommended.

We had the most lovely & delicious meal. The people that work here are extremely accommodating & make you feel welcome. We stayed in the hotel above the restaurant for two nights & wish we could have spent a week. Highly recommend both the restaurant & the hotel!
