Its name reminiscent of the desert, Le Mirage is a charming Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of downtown Montreal. The warm décor in Oriental colours, and the menu featuring traditional dishes such as fattoush salad, tabbouleh and grilled meats, makes this the perfect place to get together as a group and share a meal. Early risers will be pleased as you can also enjoy their brunches every day of the week from 8am.
Overall, Mirage Restaurant earns praise for bold, well balanced flavors, generous portions, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that blends authentic Middle Eastern decor with a modern touch. The menu delights with kebabs, grills, mezze, dates, and sweet treats, and the service is frequently described as attentive, hospitable, and efficient, especially during busy dinners and Ramadan iftar events. Reservations are recommended for peak times, and many visitors feel the pricing offers good value given the quality and experience. A few reviews mention occasional inconsistencies such as slower service during crowded periods, dishes that do not meet expectations, or items that feel overpriced, but the consensus remains that Mirage provides a standout dining experience with consistently delicious food, a charming ambiance, and friendly staff.
One of the best Arabic restaurants I've tried in Montreal. The food was fresh, flavorful, authentic, & fully halal. The mixed grill & appetizers were amazing, the portions are generous, & the atmosphere is beautiful. The service was super welcoming & professional, & everything came quickly. Definitely a place I'd come back to with family & friends
I really enjoyed this restaurant. I came from Toronto with my husband for a trip, & found this restaurant through TikTok. We love the setup of the store, the service was great, & we really enjoyed the food. will come back next time with my family.

Given that this place is in downtown Montreal I find it exceptionally spacious! Decoration is great, I liked the oriental lanterns hanging from the ceiling & there is a cozy table by the window, it can easily fit a family, I would ask for it next time. Staff are super friendly & nice, I owe them the best part of my visit. Now the food: Everything was great, quantity is just right & taste is great, especially the grills, these are served on a long wooden plate with fire in the middle, never seen that before, it looked so cool & you get that feeling of having a bbq in the garden on a summer day. One thing I did not like & it is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, is the Tabbuleh salad. We were 10 people & Tabbuleh was the only thing we all did not touch. Now, you may say does Tabbuleh deserve stripping a whole star from a review, well to me, it does, there is no better gauge for good Lebanese food than Tabbuleh.
Good food, but I noticed they charged me $15 for the salad that should be included with the mix family grill for free & they charged me taxes, I thought we are in gst break. Overall food is good
I have to say it is some of the best Arab food in town. It is an experience of fine dining with some quality Arab food. You can say that it is laventine food, but from my experience, the recipes seems to be more syrian. Loved it & enjoyed each & every bite. The staff was very welcoming & they always served with a smile on their face. The atmosphere is pretty chill. I felt like it attracts family & gatherings. The prices coincide with the quality & the quantity of food. It is worth it & deserves avery penny. I recommend.
Amazing experience. I don't even know where to begin. We are travelling from outside Montreal for a wedding & have tried so many different restaurants, each either have a ridiculous group fee or just wasn't very understanding. I called Mirage on Thursday for a Friday evening booking for 13 people & they immediately accommodated me. On top of that we were late for our reservation & they had no issues with us. Now onto the food, every meal was delicious & amazing. We ordered a variety of food items & they delivered with amazing quality. My thanks to them for the amazing service & making my friends & family feel so welcome & comfortable.
The food & the restaurant were great especially the service by Ghazaleh. She was so amazing & hospitable. She recommended us the amazing dishes for the whole family , she can speak Farsi too which was a great bonus for our group. Highly recommended. She recommended mixed grill with lamp shank , fattoush salad & feta bademjan, & mint tea & baghlava ☺️ & she surprised us with a cake 🍰 & birthday song for the birthday boy . She is amazing. We definitely will come back with a group of our friends 🙂🙂Thank You! Such a great experience ♥️🙂
Mirage is a Syrian/middle eastern restaurant with nice oriental family-oriented style. Unfortunately, almost all other Syrian restaurants are filled with Shishas & bars. A bit pricey but if you want a family friendly environment & good food, Mirage is a good option.
Wonderful atmosphere, great service & mouthwatering super tasty food, topping of the salad was perfect, meat soft & juicy, & everything from fresh ingridients. Worth your visit with family or friends.

Halal Food in Downtown Montreal This restaurant is a sensory treat, seamlessly blending Arabic & Mediterranean culture in its excellent interior atmosphere. The food is delicious & hearty, drinks are refreshing, & the service is excellent. While dessert was average, the logical prices, Halal options, & versatility for private dining or family gatherings make it a standout choice in downtown Montreal.
