Hidden species from Syrian Aleppo's cuisine, which I only found it here. The dose of salt was controlled I was amazed by that, most Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine in Montreal were a bit over salty & sometimes oily. Here the dishes are fresh & light, but also proper flavored. Proportion of sauces are not huge, but salad is in generous quantity. Service is superior, efficient & friendly. They took feedback from customer & responded it quickly. As I complained the proportion of my lemonana was small they offered me another cup, I felt a bit awkward as our table brother immediately offered that. Variety of kebab & other meat dishes like sandwiches are also impressive. Kebab was dry & lean, which was totally my preference. In conclusion, highly recommended!
Given that this place is in downtown Montreal I find it exceptionally spacious! Decoration is great, I liked the oriental lanterns hanging from the ceiling & there is a cozy table by the window, it can easily fit a family, I would ask for it next time. Staff are super friendly & nice, I owe them the best part of my visit. Now the food: Everything was great, quantity is just right & taste is great, especially the grills, these are served on a long wooden plate with fire in the middle, never seen that before, it looked so cool & you get that feeling of having a bbq in the garden on a summer day. One thing I did not like & it is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, is the Tabbuleh salad. We were 10 people & Tabbuleh was the only thing we all did not touch. Now, you may say does Tabbuleh deserve stripping a whole star from a review, well to me, it does, there is no better gauge for good Lebanese food than Tabbuleh.
it felt like stepping into a modern oasis-warm lights, intricate patterns, & the gentle hum of conversation filling the space. It's elegant without being pretentious, & every detail seems to draw you deeper into the flavors of the Middle East.
The grilled meats here are exceptional-each piece perfectly cooked, juicy at the center, & kissed by just the right amount of char. You can taste the balance of smoke, spice, & patience in every bite.
A fattoush salad arrived bright & fragrant, with crisp vegetables. The table filled quickly after that-hummus smooth as silk, Labneh rich & tangy, kibbeh with a delicate crunch, & golden cheese rolls that disappeared far too fast.
& to finish it all off, we had the Moroccan tea, fragrant, poured high into small glasses. It was both a finale & a pause-the kind of drink that makes you linger just a bit longer before heading out.
Delicious food. Amazing price. Beautiful place. Its such a good restaurant for every occasion. We had burgers (12$ for a smash burger ) SO GOOD. Like 2 patties cheese & sauce. Try the fatoush salade :0000 the best salad ive had. Im full alhamdulillah.
The food was good. we ordered khashkhash, kafta, fattoush salad, kibbeh, & fresh pita bread. Everything tasted great, but the bread, salad, & kibbeh came after the main dishes, which was a bit disappointing. the restaurant had a lovely & welcoming atmosphere.
La salade fattoush doit être retravaillée. J'ai seulement goûter ça donc je suis pas en position de juger tous le restau qui a l'air excellent mais vraiment ne commandez pas cette salade
Gorgeous place. Nice staff. I was super excited to try the restaurant for the first time! The salad & cold mezze were good, but unfortunately very disappointed with the mix grill plate. Meat was so dry :( Hopefully they would improve in the future.
Good food, but I noticed they charged me $15 for the salad that should be included with the mix family grill for free & they charged me taxes, I thought we are in gst break. Overall food is good
La nourriture était excellente tant au niveau de la présentation que de la fraîcheur. La viande était tendre & de très bon goût. Les différentes salades étaient fraîche & excellente. Le service merveilleux très à l'écoute & serviable. Je recommande à 1000000%
Nice place, I liked the lamb with fries. Delicious fattoush salad & the service was nice!
The food & the restaurant were great especially the service by Ghazaleh. She was so amazing & hospitable. She recommended us the amazing dishes for the whole family , she can speak Farsi too which was a great bonus for our group. Highly recommended. She recommended mixed grill with lamp shank , fattoush salad & feta bademjan, & mint tea & baghlava ☺️ & she surprised us with a cake 🍰 & birthday song for the birthday boy . She is amazing. We definitely will come back with a group of our friends 🙂🙂Thank You! Such a great experience ♥️🙂
Excellent food. There are several vegetarian options in appetizers. I ordered salad & appetizers & it was sufficient. Very friendly atmosphere. Loved it.
# Ramadan Iftar Meal Experience For the Ramadan iftar meal, I ordered the Kafta Belsineya, which came with a selection of sides including dates, soup (which was unfortunately not served), spring rolls stuffed with cheese, Katayef with Nutella, & a Fattouch salad. *Kafta Belsineya* The Kafta Belsineya, a traditional Syrian dish, was below average & did not match the picture. It had an abundance of spices, which overpowered the dish. *Fattouch Salad* The Fattouch salad was also below average. The vegetables appeared & tasted old, lacking the freshness one would expect from this vibrant, flavorful dish. *Cheese Rolls & Katayef* On a more positive note, the cheese rolls & the Katayef with Nutella were delicious. These items were the highlights of the meal. *Compensation for Missed Soup* When I complained that the soup was not served, the restaurant compensated by providing additional Katayef with Nutella & tea, which was a thoughtful gesture. *Overall Impression* While the meal had some disappointing elements, the restaurant's willingness to make amends for the missed soup & the enjoyment of the cheese rolls & Katayef suggest that this establishment may be worth another visit, with the hope that the quality & consistency of the dishes can be improved.
Wonderful atmosphere, great service & mouthwatering super tasty food, topping of the salad was perfect, meat soft & juicy, & everything from fresh ingridients. Worth your visit with family or friends.
i am giving 3 starts for the beautiful decor . I would say the meat was delicious but the platters came with no salad or the authentic potatoes.
They gave us fries that we can buy from grocery store & fry it at home .
We came for a traditional Turkish
The food is delicious. It was the first time to know that pomegranate can be a tasty salad. Overall, We enjoyed my visit at the restaurant & the food was extremely delicious.
