Stopped by Miette Boulangerie & was impressed by both the shop & the selection. The space is beautiful, clean, & inviting, with shelves full of fresh breads baked throughout the day.
There's a great variety to choose from, whether you're looking for a classic loaf, baguette, or something a little different. Everything looked fresh & made with care.
A wonderful neighborhood bakery with quality products & a welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back & trying more of their breads. 🥖🥐
Wonderful place, dedicated employees & delicious bread. Well cared for shop.
There is not much better than that!
In a different league when it comes to bread. Some of the best you'll find anywhere… full stop.
In the middle of a brutal Montreal winter, it's almost absurdly simple: fresh bread, good olive oil, honey, butter. That's it. Add a real coffee if you can find one in this city, & it turns into something close to perfection…
But the experience isn't flawless. Service is cold, almost dismissive, even for regulars. No warmth, no connection. You come in, you get your bread, you pay, you leave. Still worth it. You go there for the bread, not the welcome 😉
The best bread I've bought in Montreal. Would rather eat bread twice a month because Miette is $$$ (for good reason) than eat bad bread every day.
Stumbled upon this place & wow! The bread, English muffins & focaccia were all amazing! The service was also super friendly. A bit pricey but well worth it for the quality.
Breads are amazing! Wish there was a slicing option, even if it were paid…
Sandwiches though… they have an overwhelming amount of dijon mustard. I could not finish my sandwich. There was no balance of flavors, which sucks because the bread is amazing. The tuna sandwich was supposed to have sun dried tomatoes, but I could barely taste them.
