I had the halloumi which was criminally underseasoned, but the rest of the food seemed pretty decent. Their cocktails were also quite good. The atmosphere is amazing! Lots of different types of games, from board games to pool/pingpong & arcade games. I learned how to play Mortal Kombat on an arcade machine :)
I came here for the first time last night to celebrate my 21st birthday, & it absolutely surpassed my (already high) expectations. I booked a table for 15 people & expected to have a table downstairs or something, so of course I was surprised to find out that we got an entire private room upstairs to ourselves???!!! The room was decorated, had several tables, an arcade game, a water station, & even a coat rack, which was so convenient. We did have to go downstairs to the bar to order/pick up our orders, but that was no problem at all.
In terms of the place in general, it has such a great atmosphere! It's like a bar/pub/arcade/lounge combined into one, & whether you just want to grab a drink with friends or play games, there's so much to do. They provide board games for you to play at your table, & there are also many arcade games like Mortal Kombat both upstairs & downstairs (you don't have to pay to play them), & even a ping pong table & archery on the second floor. & if you're like me & obsessed with taking a million photos, this place is perfect for you because there are so many great spots to do a photoshoot (& there's so much cool decor). The place is also right next to the Lachine Canal, which is a beautiful spot!
The food was amazing as well! I ordered the OG burger with fries & a mango ginger beer (forgot what the drink was called), & both were so good (the poutines also looked delicious & I'll probably get one next time!)
Overall, I had such an amazing experience having my birthday at Memento, & all of my friends in my group had so much fun as well! I brought a cake to put in the fridge & there were no issues with that; everything went smoothly. The staff was all so nice & one staff member even took polaroid photos for us (for free) that I got to keep, which was another awesome surprise. I'll definitely be back soon & I'll recommend this place to any of my friends who are looking for places to have their birthday party. Thank you so much to everyone at Memento for making this such a fun & memorable night!!! :D & special thanks to Oceane for answering all my initial questions & helping with booking! :)
*Side note: If you're looking to book a party here, especially on a Friday or Saturday, DO IT ASAP, like minimum two weeks in advance. It was Monday & I was trying to book for Friday, but all the tables were fully reserved in the evening so I ended up booking for Sunday instead (which ended up being better honestly, & no problem but just book in advance so you don't run into any issues!)

Memento is my go-to place for great beer, food & entertainment in Montreal. I've tasted a lot of different beer in my life but Memento's lineup of spicy beers turned it completely around for me. Spicy Mexican lager, spicy porter & my personal favourite - Winnie La Gose is just pure magic, I literally cannot stop drinking it when I'm there. You should absolutely try Memento's beer, it's amazing & could tell they put a lot of effort & passion when they brew it. The place itself is spacious 2-story restaurant with big bar & amazing thoughtful decor everywhere. There's a lot of activities too: foosball, darts, arcades, board games & more. Food is great, prices are fair, whenever I come to Memento I have a lot of fun. Celebrated new year's here, it was super, we partied till the morning. Oh, & during sports events they have a special food menu - try the chicken wings, you won't regret it!
Best venu to bring friends to! Great beer, free arcade games, ping pong, amd darts! Small menu, but tasty bites. Surreal, funky, fun venue great for groups & photos. My go-to. 🍻
The place opened only 3 years ago & quickly became somewhat of an icon for atwater/canal area. Craft bear, arcade games , fantastic decor, always great atmosphere & awesome vibes.

Place originale!! Convivial il a bcp de decorations service avec un genre de carte beeper pour avertir que notre commande a manger est prete. Il y plusieurs sections terrasses & jai été agréablement surprise de pouvoir jouer gratuitement a street fighter 2 sur une vielle machine arcade sur les 3 jouables GRATUITEMENT!! ( quand il y a plus rien de gratuit de nos jours ... ca rajoute a la joie & au plaisir) Plusieurs type de biere aux saveur originales & quand meme abordables!!
An amazing brewery in Montreal! Great beer, food, & activities. Got a mouth-watering burger, several varieties of beer, & enjoyed ping pong & darts. Many arcade games available to play & stylized merch for purchase. Check it out!

On trippe complètement sur leur burgers après une course ou ride de vélo en revenant par le canal c'est super plaisant & un safe bet. Aussi, ils ont une arcade à l'intérieur au 2e, c'est le fun :) un peu long d'attendre pour une place dehors parfois.
Awesome bar to hang out for hours & have fun with friends. They have a good selection of microbrew beets to try out & tons of interesting games, from giant Jenga, to ping pong, air hockey, arcade games & more! The vibe is also fun with different sections that have different feelings.
The place has a great selection of craft beers, good food & an amazing & friendly staff, but what truly elevates Memento over other pubs / bars is the phenomenal ambiance & decore.
The space is devided in a way that each section gives off a completely different vibe, has a different aesthetic & offer different types of games.
Lots of board games to chose from, some retro arcades, photo booth, ping pong tables & dart boards available for everyone, & the best part, they are all free to play.
The beer selection is great, lots of interesting choices. They make a very tasty espresso Martini. The chicken burger is good. The decor & arcade is cool & the vibe is quite fun.

We saw the neon sign that says "Stay Weird," & we knew it would be a good time right away. They have a great menu of artisanal beers, creative cocktails, & delicious pub food. & games, a lot of games. Play ping pong, foosball, & darts with your friends, or arcade games like Street Fighter & Mortal Kombat. You can also take cute pictures together in the photo booth. We love how much fun it is here & we will definitely be back!
Cute place. A bit small. Parking seems limited. Street parking is permit so u have to drive a bit down if no parking is available. The bathroom is gender neutral so both men & women use the same one. Cute little games to play arcade etc. Staff is great. For vegetarians they had sliders, fries, corn, good variety for those who don't eat meat.
It was really nice to be seated outdoors, enjoying the cool summer breeze while drinking a tall pint of beer. They also have a lot of arcade machines inside, as well as two ping pong tables
Cool place right on the edge of the machine canal. Nice outdoor space, large indoor space with ping pong, air hockey & arcade games. Interesting beer selection!
