It took three requests & 15 minutes to get our coffee. No decaf offered, & no cream, only milk. The brunch offerings are very small, sides are all extra, as is coffee, $3 a cup. I ordered a BLT sandwich, & by husband ordered a piece of quiche, & that's all we got, no potatoes, no fruit, nothing else on the plate. I don't call that brunch. I can get a full breakfast with all the trimmings & unlimited coffee for the same price elsewhere. Service was lacking & not much to eat left us extremely disappointed. & parking was difficult, lot is small, considering the size of the place.

What a great place! The restaurant takes advantage of its large space with lots of room around the tables. Service was quick, friendly, knowledgeable (excellent wine recommendation reflecting exactly our tastes), fun. Number of items on the menu was not huge. We shared several, all exceptional. Duck was perfectly cooked, with a hint of spice as used for Peking Duck - great taste. Will be back for sure.
Menu de groupe (nous étions 9) dimanche midi. Entrée de salade & de burrata. Très intéressant. Plat principal, poulet rôti & pommes de terre. Malheureusement il n'y avait pas de sauce sur tous les morceaux de poulet & le plat était relativement froid. Malgré ça c'est bon au goût. Les pâtes à la vodka étaient no1! 💯 Chou-fleur très bon aussi. Dessert: 2 sortes de beignes. Le highlight du brunch. Ils étaient moelleux & succulents. J'y retournerais juste pour ça. Assez dispendieux (40$ par personne & 20 pour les enfants) Bon service Ambiance cool
Très bonne expérience. J'étais présent pour un party de Noël. Bonne ambiance. J'ai eu l'occasion de goûter plusieurs plats excellents! Le saumon & la bourrata avec le pesto était excellent & seulement les côtes-levés étaient un peu trop cuite.
I was a little sceptical when I saw the portion size vs the price (on Uber eats) but I was blown away by the meal! By far the best meal I have had in a long time. Will definitely be trying other items on the menu in the future!!!
As much as I was looking forward to trying McKiernan, I'm sad to say that I found it not worth all the hype & overpriced. The food was diner level, I wouldn't come back for it. The brussel sprouts ($18!!) were very salty & tasted a bit burned. The schnitzel which is one filet with no sides for $20!! was OK, the back ribs (full rack for $40) were good but came cold. Bomboloni, meh. Service was not the best. The best thing about the place is the dining hall. Really nice interior. So, I wish I could say it lived up to the expectations but it didn't.
The few times I came here in the past we would order 2-3 dishes to share & that was that. The food felt homey but slightly elevated for what it was. This time, we were a group of 7 people & we decided to order many different dishes to share. This was, by far, the best experience we've had at McKiernan up to date! Being able to taste a variety of different foods made the meal that much more enjoyable. The heavy usage of butter & olive oil makes it difficult to order just one plate & eat just that all alone to yourself. That is the reason why I highly suggest going in a gang & sharing a bunch of different things. Everything was on point & oh so savoury.
Food is always playful & well done. The service is casual but attentive to your needs.

You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. It's all great. If you can, go for the prime rib. Was so good I got a second order to take home. Oh & the schnitzel is another fantastic option.

Unimpressed. Convept of a plant cafeteria but with high-end prices. Noisy. Seating on long benches very uncomfortable, you feel every move of your neighbors. Sluggish though friendly service. Food just OK, nothing standing out...

Amazing restaurant. Food was spectacular & service was impeccable. We were a huge group of 30s & the food quality was top notch. The only dish that wasn't on par with the rest was the ribs & the waiter exchange it to schnitzel which was delicious. Service was great, our waiter provided an excellent service with a great smile throughout the whole evening. It was a blast, definitely recommend it to everyone to try this place. There is free parking also.
La nourriture est exceptionnelle. Le sandwich brisket est simplement génial. Belle carte de vins & bières. Tous les plats avaient l'air Excellent. Excellent service & belle ambiance. Grand resto très ensoleillé. Service rapide.
