We had brunch on a weekday at monk cafe. & I definitely recommend this place for brunch. They had different weekend menu so make sure to check in advance! (We wanted french toast but it was only available on weekends)
Regardless, the food, coffee & dessert, everything was amazing! & our server Josephine was super friendly, professional & sweet 🥹😘

Eggs Benedict with extra sauce (dish only comes with home fries) & home fries was incredible the flavours were well balanced & delicious
The hollandaise sauce wasn't heavy or think it was PERFECT!

They only do breakfast items on the weekends - lunch menu only available on the weekdays.

Great vibe & service.

*Edit* I have been back since & had a much better service experience. Food has always been good & continues to be. I highly recommend the brunch. Good coffee, good evening drink menu. In general this is a great spot. Past: Unfortunately I had a couple of really bad service experiences. One of which the server forgot several items - including a drink- & was chatting with her colleague when I tried to get their attention - which is fine but, when I kindly asked for the missing items they said'ok jai oublie' in a very passive aggressive tone. Kind of mediocre. Another time someone butt in line in front of my friend & the cafe attendant ( I think the same person ) served the other person first ?!?! She waited but, when her turn came the server snarled at her… anyway. I like the evening menu & I've had some good experiences -including good service experience- in the past but, not recently.

J'ai bien aimé mon expérience de votre terrasse ensoleillée cette semaine en dégustant un excellent flat white. Les fèves de café avaient clairement une torréfaction moyenne, ce qui est ma préférence & la texture de la fine mousse était impeccable. De même, le matcha latté de mon épouse était bien fait, avec une poudre Matcha de qualité. Le service était agréable. Merci! ☕🍵😊✨

This is the place to go for dinner. The food is on par to a dave mcmillan restaurant but I'm estimating 30% less expensive. I much prefer supper there compared to brunch. The plates are imaginative & cooked to perfection.

Hier soir, je suis allée manger au Café Monk avec mes collègues pour célébrer mon départ. Malheureusement, j'ai trouvé un cheveu dans mon assiette. J'en ai parlé à la serveuse, qui m'a répondu qu'elle allait en parler à la cuisinière, mais rien n'a été fait par la suite. Je suis très déçue de la façon dont la situation a été gérée.
