En général ce sont des plats savoureux. Le poulet était très tendre avec une sauce succulente. Petite mention spéciale pour les beignets, potentiellement les meilleurs en ville.
I've been here more than five times, & it has truly become one of my favorite brunch spots. I love how the menu evolves with the seasons, always bringing fresh flavors, the welcoming atmosphere. Always have a wonderful time here!!
Had a great time on Sunday with friends for brunch. Food was very good & ambience was wonderful. Staff were helpful & very friendly. Prices was reasonable for the food quality. Plenty of parking space & easy access. Would definitely come back for lunch or brunch.
I absolutely love the atmosphere at McKiernan. Rustic barn, ballroom vibe. It is simply one of my favourite places to eat in Montreal time & time again. Never disappointed. Staff is always on point as well. The quality for the price is totally fair & the clientele are a nice mix from all walks of life. No elitism just people passionate about good food.
I've heard that you can rent out the venue for wedding receptions & such as well which would be fabulous!
Their brussels sprouts are one of my single favourite dishes & all of Montreal.
Recently went back for brunch & it was lit! Photos addd to my review.
To say I'm impressed with this place is an understatement!!! Have been 3 times now & each time as exquisite as the last. Yesterday we had the breakfast schnitzel, the chicken salad sandwich special, the hash browns, coffee & a donut & holyyy. Absolutely fantastic. The service is great there, the coffee is strong, the interior is beautiful with a ton of natural light & the high ceilings are great. Over 10/10 breakfast spot & I'm not sure I'll ever come to Montreal again without going here for brunch before we leave
Brunch excellent & original. Truite fumée excellente !! Ambiance idéale pour un groupe
Best brunch in Montreal & this's a must try restaurant. Everything is excellent here.
We went for brunch. Everything we had was delicious, creative, well thought out on the plate. I love the airy atmosphere & huge windows inside. As someone from New England it was fun to see the Becky's Diner mug by the host stand. Great experience all around.
Delicious menu except for their ribs, it's dry & nothing special. Also, the portions are small. As for their brunch, the quiche is excellent while pancakes & hash brown double down could've been executed better. They are very sweet due to an overload amount of maple syrup. On the contrary, their donuts are not, very good..just right amount of flavor, texture, & fillings.
Great brunch spot! The pancakes with fresh berries were delicious, as was the sandwich. You get to dine in a beautiful airy space with natural light, lush greenery, & soft chatter filling the air. Will have to come back to try their dinner menu, but all in all recommend! Update: we came back for dinner & still give this place 5 ⭐️! We were a table of five & got to try multiple dishes. Everything was delicious, but what we all agreed stood out was the fish which was buttery & melted in our mouthes, as well as the brussel sprouts & tartare (get a side of their homemade buns with herb & garlic butter if you can!).
Great lunch spot, kindof in the middle of nowhere but there's a parking lot. Pretty big location, didn't need a reservation on a sunday afternoon. Got the brunch schnitzel, burrata appetizer & blt sandwich & everything was delicious!
Went for Sunday brunch, we were six. It took three requests & 15 minutes to get our coffee. No decaf offered, & no cream, only milk. The brunch offerings are very small, sides are all extra, as is coffee, $3 a cup. I ordered a BLT sandwich, & by husband ordered a piece of quiche, & that's all we got, no potatoes, no fruit, nothing else on the plate. I don't call that brunch. I can get a full breakfast with all the trimmings & unlimited coffee for the same price elsewhere. Service was lacking & not much to eat left us extremely disappointed. & parking was difficult, lot is small, considering the size of the place.
Plats originaux. Service décontracté & hyper sympathique.
