Delicious food prepared & served by a detail-oriented, convivial team that takes pride in their offerings & enjoys each other's company! Terrific & knowledgeable service team. Sitting at the bar offers an engaging view of the food prep dance & the opportunity to engage with the team. Highly recommend!!
I highly recommend their burrata with pistachios & their crudo di branzino. Their pesto pasta was also very good. We ordered two different desserts, but all of us liked the tiramisu better.
One thing to note is that the music is a bit too loud, which makes it somewhat difficult to talk. If you stay for too long, you might even get a headache, haha!
Also, be prepared to wait up to an hour for a table.
Nice service. The food was absolutely delicious! Would definitely return & recommend.
Edit: I returned! Please get the burrata! It's the most delicious menu item I've tasted all month!! The service was great which proves to be consistent. I think I've found my new favorite place for Italian fare!
I was recommended to try that place so I made sure I booked in advance but was quite disappointed.
I was a bit disappoint in the menu, pasta wise. The place only offers three sorts of pasta + the special one (+ other meat if you prefer ofc). But hey, if the pasta is good, no need for more. That was not the case. The pasta was overcooked, quite bland, with very few grana padano on top. Disappointed.
I also ordered olives & a cocktail which were good, & service was quite good, hence the second star.
Music was loud, very noisy place, bathroom wasn't that clean, lots of TP here & there.
Don't really get all the fuzz about that place nor why it has such a high rating tbh.
A friend recommended to visit this place for our Montreal visit, it didn't disappoint! Everything tasted really fresh & delicious, & the Italian sodas were so good. The burrata & Caesar salad were standouts for us.
Service was super friendly, & the food came out really quickly. We got lucky & walked in around 6 pm with no wait, but a line started forming soon after. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
I would not recommend this place. I waited 40 minutes for a sandwich that was served cold, so there was no reasonable explanation for such a long wait, especially considering that the restaurant was almost empty. Meanwhile, the staff seemed far more interested in chatting with each other than attending to customers.
When the sandwich finally arrived, it contained an ingredient that was not listed on the menu & to which I am allergic. I asked for it to be removed & then had to wait another 15 minutes for the same sandwich to be brought back, this time covered with an excessive amount of chili pepper, which was also not mentioned anywhere on the menu.
In the end, I was charged for a meal that I was unable to eat. To make matters worse, when I tried to explain the situation to the manager, instead of listening to my concerns, he laughed in my face.
The level of professionalism & customer service was absolutely unacceptable. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I had during my stay in Montreal.
This restaurant never disappoints! Good job la gang!
This place is really good. The food in general is very good but the Burrata with artichoke & pistachio purée is amazing & the Pasta al pesto is the best that I tried. Highly recommend!
