The vibe is fun, vibrant & busy, music is an eclectic 80's feel! The food never disappoints, menu is small but solid, always super fresh, waiters are friendly & helpful with great wine selection. I had the lobster ravioli special this time & wow,'just wow' Fantastique! You can't leave without the tiramisu, this is the ultimate neighbourhood Italian with the fairest prices in town! J'adore mano cornuto!!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mano Cornuto, & it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance & inviting decor set the perfect tone for our evening. We started with the Caesar salad, which was crisp & flavorful, perfectly dressed without being overwhelming. The burrata was a standout - creamy & rich, it paired beautifully with the fresh accompaniments. The roasted squash (zucca arrosto) was a delightful surprise, showcasing a wonderful balance of sweetness & savoriness that left us wanting more. For our main course, we indulged in the mafaldine al pesto, which was simply divine. The pasta was cooked to perfection, & the pesto was vibrant & fragrant, making it one of the best pasta dishes we've had in a long time. We also tried the carpaccio de manzo, which was beautifully presented & melt-in-your-mouth tender. We were so full by the end of our meal that we didn't have room for dessert, but that just gives us another reason to come back! Overall, Mano Cornuto exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Montreal!
My favorite Italian place in town so far. I really enjoy their pesto spaghetti, so tasty. Their stake & chickpea also taste good as well. We really enjoy. The cocktail is so so personally. But the tiramisu is super delicious, one of the best. I love it. The place is quite loud & the service is moderated. Will come back again!
Really really great Italiano quality food. Taste like nonno & nanna's cooking
I'd heard from a friend that he has a friend who is Italian & family hails from there. Mano Cornuto is the only place that they will take their family. & there's a reason why. Because it's just so damn good. I studied in Italy for a brief period, & learned that you don't have to spend a lot of money to eat really well. I worked in Italy for a longer period, & learned that a lot of money got you some pretty exceptional food. Mano Cornuto drives right up the middle. It's pretty exceptional food for not a lot of money. It's a pretty casual place, big line ups, & everything is excellent. Some of the best focaccia sandwiches I've ever had. Interesting specials on pastas with the regulars always good. Good drinks, nice patio in warmer weather. Best thing ever is that it's an eight minute walk from where I live. Frankly, I think, deep down inside, it was one of the deciding factors in locating our place. Oh, & the tiramisu (pull my heart in English) absolutely yanks on your heart.
Attentive staff & Italian fare in a laid back setting this place is great. Caught up with an old friend over some shared plates & had a wonderful time. Service impeccable & food was top motch. Highly reccomend.
This is a classic Italian restaurant with a very traditional atmosphere. Staff is bilingual, but definitely more french leaning. The pasta I had was okay, although I wish I had tried the antipasti as they looked really good. Definitely would recommend going out of your comfort zone for the food selection, as I don't think the "safer" options are as good.
Idk how many times i came here, or the amount of friends & family i brought in. the best italian restaurant in town, service is top notch!!! Must become a michelin star !!!
Wonderful local spot. We walked in & really felt like we were in a trattoria in Italy. The food is a perfect balance between home style cooking & refined flavours. We loved every dish we ordered. Easily one of the best Italian restaurants we've been to in Montreal.
Deliciously fresh Italian food, the burrata was particularly great with the soft focaccia. Friendly service, lively space, will be back!
I'm stupid picky about Italian food, having lived in Rome. But Mano Cornuto is the real deal - absolutely exquisite. & they serve up what may be the best Caesar salad ever made. Wish I could give more than five stars.
This restaurant is serving real Italian dishes . Menu is not much , for you not to be puzzled what to order. ALL items we tried were rich in flavor, tasty, & will make you think to order more. Service is very nice & waiters are friendly, suggesting their specialty of the day...will come again next time we are in Montreal.
Mano Cornuto is an Italian haven! Their in-house fresh pasta is simply exceptional, embodying the rich, delicious flavors of Italy in every bite. The moment you step in, you're greeted by a warm, rustic atmosphere that perfectly complements the dishes. The pasta is perfectly cooked, with sauces that are incredibly rich & flavorful. From classic marinara to unique regional specialties, each dish tells a story of tradition & passion. The staff is attentive & friendly, making it a thoroughly delightful dining experience. If you're searching for authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place to go!
Such an amazing Italian restaurant. The food is delicious! The service is friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed with an intimate dinning environment with good music. My group had the spaghetti squash & the asparagus entres, the rigatoni main, the tiramisu dessert & espresso. Everything we had was fabulous. Highly recommend.
DELICIOUS little Italian restaurant. We were sat at the bar section & ordered a few plates to share. SO much flavour & such quality ingredients in each plate! I highly recommend reserving a table in advance as its small & gets packed really quick MUST order the piatto antipasto charcuterie board & their burrata (forgot to take a photo unfortunately). Their Caesar salad is so unique but a tad sweet for my liking, & finally the tonnarelli al pesto, so much great flavour for such a simple dish. We ended our meal with a delicious cappuccino & a heavenly lemon cheesecake (their dessert options change often I believe)
Delicious Italian food! Always enjoy visiting here; however, it's hard to get a table & most seating is bar seating. But it's still worth it to grab a quick dinner. The cesear salad & pesto pasta are incredible...
Excellent Italian food! Everything was delicious! We ordered the pasta bolognese, pasta puttanesca, braised lamb steak, focaccia, & ceasar salad. The dish to definitely try is there bass fish. The restaurant has a good ambience & the server was really kind & explained the menu to us. I recommend reserving in advance because the restaurant gets full quickly. This was one of the best dinner we had in Montreal.
