Today i slipped & fell down the stairs (wet shoes & not anti slip stair ateps) to discover later that the lock in men's cubicle is broke.
I am Italian & have a hard time comparing restaurants to my mum's home cooking, but Manago shocked me! I ordered the Chicken Manago, straying from my usual Parmgiana & I just couldn't get over how flavourful every bite was. Everything on the plate was perfect. I was expecting to bring home lunch for the next day, but I ate it all, only wishing I wasn't so full as to sweep up the remaining sauces with more bread! I only wish the restaurant wasn't so completely packed so that we could have had more space to really slow down & breathe between bites (something about a crammed restaurant always makes me feel like we have to eat faster!) 100% my fav Italian in Montreal!
Surprised that everything was bland.
Pepperoni in pizza iffy, Gigi sauce was too watery. Was truly expecting better given how busy resto is & the reviews. We had good friendly service though.
Here is my review about this place.
1- Decoration 8.5/10 this place is nicely decorated with a lot of space. A touch of old & modern together in it a italian atmosphere.
2- Ambiance 10/10 this place has a lot of ambiance.There was a lot of people & good for parties , receptions or a date.
3- Service 10/10 the service was really excellent, Nice , polite & knowing their menu.
4- food 8.5/10 the food was good, but it varied between different plates & some where not hot nought or made differently.
5- cleanest 9/10 the restaurants & the restrooms were clean but there were missing paper to dry your hands. It just needs a little bit of more regularity.
I do recommande this place. Look at the pictures.
The Francesco pizza was very good. Reservations make things easier as it was quite full on a Tuesday night in mid January.
Warm & relaxing atmosphere. This restaurant has been around for many years & never dissapoints. Great food & excellent service.
Nous avons pris les pizzas au four qui sont incroyables. Mon père nous amenait la quand on était plus jeune, c'est maintenant a mon tour d'amener mon fils. L'entrée de calmar est excellente. Le restaurant est toujours très occupé, il est préférable de réserver pour ne pas ce faire jouer un tour. C'est mon restaurant favoris ainsi que celui de mon fils. Les bonbons digestifs n'ont pas de chocolat au milieu ce qui est un gros plus pour moi.
Went for lunch & it really wasn't too busy Apple seating really really cute place. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The flavours were good. The wine was good. The service was really prompt & the server was super nice.
The overall experience was good. I was just baffled that no one answered when I called. I made the reservation online & it worked at least. Going earlier is good for walk in & is quieter, Reservation are best for later dinning.
Excellent food & nice ambiance. Prices are very reasonnable. Exceptional service by Kevin.
A great evening in a great location . Food was superb & Val & Aly at the bar were very good & helpful. Must hit place in the West Island .

The personalized service was exceptional. As fate would have it, our waitress seems to be the one that has served us in the past & she was amazing as always.
Valaria was her usual excellent self & took amazing care of our table.
The meal was fresh & timely & has always been consistent over the years we have been coming here.
Highly recommend.
