The food was excellent- chosen from the Table d'hote. After a tasty entree of pear & goat cheese, we had a delicious combo of mushroom risotto & cod. The sauces were a treat. Our server knew his stuff & was attentive on a very busy evening.
Any our waitress was very sweet, polite & attentive. Everything was delivered to our table hot & the food was delicious. One of my favorite restaurants to dine in.

Everyone in our party enjoyed their delicious meal. The service was flawless: Our waiter was very patient, had a good sense of humour, & was attentive to details. The quality of the service & the food at Manago never disappoints!
I love this place! It's a classic & such a family-oriented restaurant. I always come here when I'm craving Italian comfort food. My favorite is the chicken parm! The interior is super cute, & the patio in the summer is amazing.
I usually make a reservation since it can get pretty full. The only downside is that service can be inconsistent. I've had amazing experiences with kind & attentive staff, but on my last visit, the server was quite rude & seemed uninterested. She didn't even ask if we wanted bread, & her attitude honestly made me feel unwelcome. Meanwhile, tables around us were getting great service, so maybe it just wasn't her day, but it did leave a sour taste.
Overall, I still love this restaurant & will definitely be back, though maybe I'll stick to takeout next time.
I've been coming to this restaurant for years, & it truly never disappoints. The food is consistently incredible - hands down the best Italian cuisine in the West Island.
What really makes the experience special, though, is the service. Our waiter, Matthew, has always gone above & beyond every single time. He's very attentive, friendly, & always makes us feel right at home.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Italian food & top-notch service.
Always great here but tonight's service from Matthew was over the top, not only was he courteous, attentive & friendly he was engaging & humorous. Matthew is a credit to your business. We will be back, of course!

We were a party of 4 celebrating a birthday & were very pleased that we had chosen Le Vieux Four Manago Kirkland for dinner! We arrived at 6 pm & the place was buzzing...a great vibe! Even though it was packed the acoustics allowed us to converse easily. Our server was attentive , accommodating & very friendly. We started with the lobster ravioli with a scallop sauce which was delicious, we had different entrees but each one was scrumptious & the crème brûlée was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant , & know we will be returning!
Today, we were celebrating a friend's birthday at Manago. Our waitress was awesome. Very attentive & polite. But the food quality at Manago has really gone down since our last visit. Pizzas had no flavor, pasta was hard to chew. Brochetta, the chef gave us diced dry tomatoes without any seasoning. The only thing we enjoyed was the small basket of fresh bread that was served at the table. It wasn't the money's worth meal at all. & believe me it wasn't a cheap meal either. Ambiance & the serve was amazing.
Yesterday evening we celebrated a friend's birthday in a party of 3, with a reservation. As always, since we enjoyed the terrasse here a few years ago, we enjoyed last night immensely, feeling treated, with cooking & quality of ingredients a cut above for generosity & freshness, & the considerate, timely service of Kevin. The wine list does not disappoint. On the Table d'hôte we enjoyed the crab cakes, as good as at any beach resort, with a thin crispy crust, & the thin-crust pizza made in a traditional wood-fired oven, with a request accommodated for using blue cheese instead of the goat cheese for my husband. (It was similar to my favorite Francesca pizza on the à la carte menu.) The house-made tiramisu is a very generous portion, & does not exclude any traditional ingredients like the liqueur. The mascarpone was smooth & rich, the lady finger cookies fresh & delicious. Our birthday guest received a festive sparkler & we sang happy birthday. If you'd like to celebrate, or simply feel too tired to cook dinner, or want a lunch treat, try Le Vieux Four. I am SO happy for this discovery, & was reluctant to share, in case reservation space disappeared! It is now our "go to" spot, & EVERY service person's genuine attentiveness is really rare today, with such good food, from savory veal, to pizza, crispy, hot calamari or the arancini, try everything, you won't be sorry!!!! Worth every $.

The service was ok as the waiter did not push us to any time limit, however a few times when we requested items, water, napkins, salt, it seemed he just forgot & we had to ask again, so not attentive. He was very pleasant which does count for a lot!
Overall highly recommend this restaurant
I had an exceptional dining experience at this Italian restaurant. The ambiance was very good, creating a warm & inviting atmosphere. The digital candlelight dinner added a romantic touch, & the soft, light music in the background set the perfect mood.
The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive & friendly throughout the meal. They placed us at a nice table, offering a lovely view, & the waiters were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home.
Overall, it was a delightful evening, & I would highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable Italian dining experience.

Always a good choice for lunch, even if the prices are a little steep, but then prices are rising in many places these days. Great pizza & super friendly & attentive staff - the terrasse was enjoyable & is well protected from sun & rain. We will return!
