I hadn't been here for over 10 years.
The bread they give in the beginning is so moist.
I can say the pasta is still so yummy like I remember, although the portions are huge, definitely dont make the same mistake as us & get the small portion of the pastas because the small is pretty big.
We got the fettuccine & the carbonara & both of them were really good, the pear salad was refreshing, the soup was good aswell. Just to say that we were in a food coma after this. I will definitely come back & not wait 10 years this time
Client depuis 2017, Le vieux Four Manago est toujours une expérience conviviale & délectable. Que ce soit pour le veau au citron, la pizza, le tartare de saumon ou la salade de betteraves tout est délicieux! L'ambiance est chaleureuse & le personnel est accueillant & courtois. Un rendez vous annuel que je loupe jamais lors de mon voyage pour rendre visite à mon fils qui vit à Montréal .

Excellent restaurant. J'ai toutefois été surprise par une salade césar defraichie & molle avec trop de vinaigrette. Les Arancini étaient délicieux.

Food & drinks were very good, we were a group of 6 & everyone had something different & all were pleased with their selection, we had pizzas, ravioli, salad & seafood pasta. Service was fairly quick with everyone's order arriving at the same time. This is a nice place with indoor & outdoor seating.
Truly the food was a disaster.
All the pastas. Super sweet tomatoes sauce & the Bolognes has barely any meat, so it was like tomato sauce/ all pomodoro as well.
The Cesar salad, the lettuce looked like it came out the garbage bin & was served with the sauce.
The cheese pizza was finally the only thing that tasted good & was eatable.
Great place & very delicious food. I love arugula salad with pears, it was fantastic. Highly recommend this place
Pizza is amazing. Cooked in a wood fire oven. They can turn any pizza on the menu into a calzone. The brie & pear salad is also really good. Highly recommended. The pasta is not fresh/made in house, just an FYI. They offer gluten-free penne only. The service was quick despite being busy. Our waitress Anna was polite & helpful. Extensive wine list. They have a full bar so you can order almost any drink you want.
Bonjour, j'y suis allée 2 fois cette année & les plats sont encore aussi savoureux. Comme entrée j'ai pris de délicieuses & goûteuses polpettes accompagnées de bons pains chauds. & une salade cesar avec poulet comme plat principal a clotûré mon repas. Quant à la table des vins, elle est n'a rien à envier aux autres grands restaurants. & que dire du service beaux sourires & rapidité étsient présents. Comme dit le diction; Jamais 2 sans 3, alors je reviendrai. Merci
This restaurant never disappoints you. The food is fresh & delicious & the service impeccable. I love their pizza. It's hard to find vegetarian meals that are worth the outing but this is just amazing food for any diet. Their meal salad is truly a meal. Yes it's a little pricey but you don't leave here feeling like you could have done better elsewhere. My husband & I shared a half seafood half vegetarian pizza & the baby spinach salad & it was all awesome! Update: I usually enjoy the food here but I think something has changed. The quality of the food & then portions just aren't the same. The plates used to be so grand & the presentation & ingredients so good but last night, a very busy Tuesday because of the golf tournament nearby left me so disappointed I'm not sure I'll go back even after all of the previous good experiences I had. We had an escargot entree & it was watery. My husband suspects that they were frozen & that was melted ice in the dish. I told the waitress that it tasted like water that had diluted all of the garlic butter & she said she would tell the kitchen but never came back with any follow-up. I had the eggplant parmigiana & I agree with another reviewer's description, it was a blob of cheese with some sauce & a few thin bits of eggplant. Something a deli would serve not an Italian restaurant let alone this one! I really think they're cheaping out on ingredients & it's just a matter of time before the regulars catch on & stop going like me. Fyi for an amazing eggplant parmigiana go to Piazza Romana. Note to the owner, you've lost your once loyal customer who referred everyone to you. I hope you fix the problem before it puts you out of business.
I haven't been to this restaurant since before Covid. I was really excited to go & eat there. The food has really changed since I've been there. We ordered a Caesar salad & it was completely tasteless. I ordered lasagna & it was way too sweet & I really didn't enjoy it at all. The spaghetti & meatballs were very sweet & my husband said he didn't like it. The service was really good though. I don't think we will be going back anytime soon. It was expensive & I prefer other Italian restaurants in the area much more. I'm very disappointed with our meal.
The food was very good, with quality ingredients & delicious produce. Our server was lovely, efficient & friendly. My only gripe is, that I had a chicken ceasar salad, which was not worth the price, even though the chicken was lovely.

Première fois à cet endroit. Invité par ma soeur & son mari, nous avons adoré. Servi par Sébastien qui y travaille depuis 7 ans. Avons été très bien servi, nourriture excellente & bonne ambiance. Nous avons essayé une pizza avec oignons caramélisés & fromage de chèvre; un délice! Accompagné de salade César & d'un Valpolicella. Nous y retournerons pour le veau très bientôt 😊
The food here is absolutely amazing. I have now been here five times & had something different each time. I went with the steak & my wife got the chicken Manago. Spot on perfect blend of everything. But more importantly to me is the service . With servers like Amy & Liam, We felt like a King & Queen. Nothing for a moment was needed. Everything was spot on perfect service. Their personalities were absolutely amazing to match the awesome atmosphere here. Even though the restaurant got really busy really fast, we were still taking care of with absolute precision & meaning. This restaurant is one of the best gems in the West Island❤️ I recommend just about everything they have from the pasta to their amazing soups & salads, & Large size sizes.
