We went for a paid dinner provided from our boss, & the staff knew how to take care of it. We were greeted by the best staff.
The food was immaculate, the pasta & pizza were the best thing Ive ever tasted in quite some time, it was pretty great.
It had been a while since Ive been there & Ill definitely order a pizza next time.

Pepperoni in pizza iffy, Gigi sauce was too watery. Was truly expecting better given how busy resto is & the reviews. We had good friendly service though.
Nous avons pris les pizzas au four qui sont incroyables. Mon père nous amenait la quand on était plus jeune, c'est maintenant a mon tour d'amener mon fils. L'entrée de calmar est excellente. Le restaurant est toujours très occupé, il est préférable de réserver pour ne pas ce faire jouer un tour. C'est mon restaurant favoris ainsi que celui de mon fils. Les bonbons digestifs n'ont pas de chocolat au milieu ce qui est un gros plus pour moi.

When my kids were younger, we used to bring them there for the kids' meal of pasta. For a while, it became our family's go-to spot. You know how kids are-picky eaters with ever-changing tastes-& eventually, they grew tired of pasta. But during that time, my wife & I stuck to one thing we loved: the'frutti di mare' pizza. As the name suggests, it's a seafood-inspired pizza, topped with shrimp, scallops, crab, & a rich seasoned tomato sauce to bring it all together.
Though the restaurant was a favorite, life & changing preferences led us away from it for several years. But Vieux Four Manago has always remained a family-driven place, with a welcoming ambiance, soft background music, & a bar area where you can catch a game if you're into sports. It's the kind of place that's perfect for celebrating life's milestones, from birthdays to anniversaries, or any event where you want to be surrounded by loved ones. The restaurant's heart has always been its family atmosphere, & the staff make you feel right at home, like part of their own family.
Now that our kids are much older, they still haven't developed the same love for pasta, but recently, my wife & I decided to take a nostalgic trip back to Vieux Four Manago & order our old favorite, the'frutti di mare' pizza. It felt like we were stepping back in time-the wood-fired brick oven was still there, tirelessly producing pizzas for both dine-in patrons & takeout orders. When our pizza finally arrived, it was just as we remembered it. The toppings were perfectly browned, exactly how I've always liked them, & the crust was golden, light, & deliciously crispy. We added a drizzle of chili oil with just the right amount of heat, giving each bite a subtle extra kick. As soon as I took that first bite, a flood of memories came rushing back. It tasted every bit as wonderful as it did in the past, reminding us of all the good times we'd shared at this spot.

With delicious food in my belly & mature love in the air, it was the perfect recipe for a satisfying end to the night. The digital candlelight setup created an intimate & romantic setting, with the soft glow of the virtual candles adding a warm touch to the experience. Light, soothing music played gently in the background, enhancing the mood without overwhelming the conversation.

Second time we got Matt as our servicer. He is wonderful & very generous with the wonderful white powder.... I'm speaking of parmesan, obviously.
Got a pizza the first time & chicken parmesan this time. Both were delicious. After the first visit the wife said, this is our new favourite restaurant. Can't argue with that. The garlic bread with cheese is devilishly amazing, even if its so unhealthy. The creme brulee was a delight.
I prefer going to Manago at an earlier time as the place gets rather loud later on.
All in all, great place to get some italian food.

Tjrs un endroit agréable où à l'époque on pouvait apercevoir M. G. Lafleur. Belle ambuance. Service un peu inégale Les plats sont chauds & la pizza au four de feu est la star du resto.
Very nice place to eat. We had lunch there the menu had great choices. Can accommodate large groups for office parties. There a huge pizza oven where they make their pizzas. It smells divine.
The service was excellent - fast, friendly, & efficient. The pizza was delicious & flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the seafood pasta, which had a delicious sauce. I would highly recommend trying the pizza & tiramisu. While the restaurant is a bit pricey, the quality of the food makes it worthwhile for a special occasion.

Client depuis 2017, Le vieux Four Manago est toujours une expérience conviviale & délectable. Que ce soit pour le veau au citron, la pizza, le tartare de saumon ou la salade de betteraves tout est délicieux! L'ambiance est chaleureuse & le personnel est accueillant & courtois. Un rendez vous annuel que je loupe jamais lors de mon voyage pour rendre visite à mon fils qui vit à Montréal .
Bel accueil...bon service..musique d'ambiance...nourriture excellente...pizza cuite au four a bois ...première fois pour nous mais assurément pas le derrière 😁
