Five Stars is an Understatement! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? Maman Sady has officially stolen my heart!
The moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with the warmest, most genuine smiles-it honestly feels like walking into a beloved family member's home. The atmosphere is cozy, beautifully designed, & just has the absolute best vibes for a night out.
Now, let's talk about the food: WOW. You can taste the incredible quality & love in every single bite. Everything we ordered was perfectly seasoned, fresh, & absolutely delicious.
The service was just the icing on the cake. The staff is so attentive, friendly, & genuinely cares about making sure you have a wonderful time.
If you haven't been here yet, you are seriously missing out. Maman Sady is an absolute gem, & I already can't wait for my next visit! ❤?
Had a wonderful experience at Maman Sady Restaurant! The Barg was super delicious & perfectly cooked, & the Ghormeh Sabzi was incredibly flavorful & authentic. The Meygo Polo was also delicious & well made, although the spices were a little different from my personal taste. Overall, the food quality & atmosphere were amazing, & I'd definitely come back again!
April 2026 update:
Went back & had torsh & this time ghorme sabzi. The ghorme sabzi was unreal & torsh was pretty much the same as before!! My only complaint is still the oily rice- please use less oil!
Dec 2025:
The atmosphere & the staff are great, so is the food presentation. But the quality is not the best. I ordered the torsh & it did not taste that great, it tasted like garlic, which makes no sense. The aash, though, was very very good! I tried my friend's joojeh & it too was very mediocre. The rice was also too oily.
Given the limited iranian kabob choices in montreal though, I'd still go back.
The quality of the rice was amazing! I really enjoyed the hole experience
Five stars on food quality is not enough. Amazing fresh food, well seasoned, good portions, well cooked. I think of it & I can taste it again.
Can't wait to go back.
A great experience. Staff are nice & food was great!
I hope they keep the quality as is 🤞! We'll come back back soon
I had a wonderful experience . The quality of the food was excellent, everything was fresh, flavorful, & clearly prepared with great care.
The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, & respectful, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy & friendly, making it a perfect place to relax & enjoy a great meal. You can really feel the passion & hospitality behind the place.
I will definitely come back & highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food & a welcoming environment in Montreal.
Great place for Persian food in Montreal. Good portions & amazing quality.
With due respect, this review is based solely on my first experience at this restaurant.
Unfortunately, the quality of service & the way customers were received & attended to were not satisfactory, & there were noticeable shortcomings in the way the food was served.
Considering that in many Iranian restaurants offering complimentary bread, butter, & tea is considered part of the hospitality culture, the absence of these items was notable.
Additionally, the pricing did not seem consistent with the quality & level of service provided. For example, charging $35 for Ghormeh Sabzi does not appear reasonable in my view.
Ordered via Uber, Maman Sady was really tasty & had that authentic flavor. It's a bit above the usual price range in my opinion, but you can definitely tell in the quality of the rice, the saffron flavor, & the meat they use. The dish I ordered (Gheimeh nesar) would be best accompanied by a side like plain yogurt or their garlic yogurt! My Canadian partner loved them too & he's picky with Persian food! Merci Maman !!
Excellent food, Nothing but quality & worth your time. Fresh, flavours, hearty & simple dishes. We shared a meal with 2 adults & it was well worth it. We got a amazing entree soup tasted like heaven (young children & adults approved)
The quality & price was affordable. They could more faster in service
Had the chance to try this high quality Persian restaurant for the third time this year. The food taste, aroma & decoration surpasses those I have been trying so far in town remarkably.
Amazing food, very taste, new interesting flavors & combinations, overall very healthy, big dishes & good quality & amount for the price. Very welcoming staff, relaxed ambiance, totally recommended spot!
Omg, incredible. we ordered Koobide plate & Koobide Sandwich, Baglava cheese cake & Gheime Nesar, everything was delicious, they welcomed us with a super yummy soup. service , quality, portions & decoration 10/10
Excellent, food quality & taste, stuff super nice I recommend 10000%
I liked the food & services; they were of good quality & delicious. However, some aspects disappointed me. As a Persian customer, I expected to have Persian bread with an appetizer & kebab, not pita.
Thank you, you are one of the best Persian restaurants in Montreal.
One of the most delicious Persian dishes I've ever had was at this restaurant.😋😋😊😊 I hope they maintain the quality. I also really liked the dress code of the waitresses. it had a very nice Persian vibe.
