The Gheyme Nesar was phenomenal, better than any I've had elsewhere. All the other dishes were great & tasty too. The service was phenomenal, they even gave us soup for free, & it was insanely delicious. The staff are very kind & welcoming. I 100% recommend this place if you'd like to try authentic Iranian food.
One of the best hidden gems in town. The service is impeccable & very friendly. The food is incredibly delicious. We have tried almost every single main dish there & all of them are perfectly cooked, delicious, & flavorful. Their side dishes like pickled garlic & vegetable are also not to be missed. I would highly recommend ending your meal with their hot tea & delicious desserts!
The food is amazing each & every dishes & appetizer you gotta need to try this food .
My Iranian friend took me here & I was blown away with the quality of the food. They had dishes that my friend even never had because some dishes are regional. Fantastic flavours.
I ordered the chicken kebab with rice & the lamb shank with rice.
The chicken kebab wasn't really worth the price, in my opinion. The lamb shank was decent, but the side dishes were quite limited.
One nice thing is that when you order a main dish, it comes with either soup or salad. The atmosphere was also pleasant & enjoyable. Overall, the ambiance was good.
On the positive side, the staff & atmosphere were amazing & welcoming. The service was also great. The soup served before the meal was really delicious. I also enjoyed the Ghormeh Sabzi stew.
The main reason for the 3-star rating for food is the Salad Shirazi, which had a strong moldy taste. The vegetables looked fine, but they tasted & smelled rotten. We all tried it & agreed that it had a terrible moldy smell & taste.
We also ordered the chenjeh. It had too many unusual spices & was overly salty. It was also very hard & dry, & it did not taste fresh at all. It almost felt as if the spices were being used to mask a lack of freshness.
On the tasting plate, the dishes tasted good, but some items (Kashk Bademjan & Mirza Ghasemi) were served cold rather than warm. This was not a major issue, but these dishes are often more enjoyable when served warm because of their oil content.
The koobideh was okay in terms of both taste & freshness. The saffron flavor seemed to be stronger in color than in actual taste.
Overall, I think this is a good restaurant with a great atmosphere & excellent staff, but they should pay more attention to the freshness of their ingredients, especially for dishes that may not be ordered as frequently, such as Salad Shirazi & chenjeh.
We really enjoyed our experience here. The Kashk Bademjoon was absolutely delicious, & the chicken kabob was incredibly juicy & tender. The koobideh was decent but definitely has some room for improvement compared to the other dishes. Also, a special shoutout to Sahar Joon - she was so kind & attentive & truly made the experience even more memorable. We'll definitely be back!
Soooo good experience!
First of all the place is very nice, with typical decoration & ambiance! Staff was so welcoming & warm, very professional service & not long waiting. Now the food... ooooh my god! So delicious, so tasty & succulent! It starts with a creamy chiken soup offered for free, for the principal dish, i took the lamb shank... I don't have words to describe it..Tender meat cooked to perfection, served with a sauce made with Middle Eastern spices, just amazing! With a very generous portion of rice! My friends took different kebab dishes, they were pleased with their choices. I tried the baklava cheese cake, exceptional 😋
I strongly recommend this restaurant & I'll definitely go back again.
Liked the kebabs very much but overall taste of main dishes like Ghormesabzi & lamb shank was not my favorite. It could be yours though!
Food presentation was great! Very kind & welcoming staff.
The vibe was also cozy & pleasant.
The food was amazing & the portions are quite generous. The ambiance was wonderful & all the servers were all friendly & accommodating. I'm definitely coming back to try the other dishes!
