Afficher toutdumplings(57) soup(9) price(8) fresh(8) cozy(7) steamed(5) fried(5) peanut butter(4) wonton(4) options(4) quick(4) lamb(4)We ordered SHRIMP dumplings. What we received was some sort of ball of various ingredients including cabbage & who knows what else. Some of the pieces tasted pork-y instead of fishy. Also the peanut sauce had to be ordered separately. After ten minutes the dumplings had hardened up to be become hand-to-chewy. Don't bother. Go For dim sum elsewhere.
Went here for dinner. I ordered peanut butter dumplings & spring rolls. There was hardly any peanut butter on the dumplings & the dumplings fall apart as you are trying to eat them & the meat inside comes out so you have basically wet pasta & tiny pieces of meat. The spring rolls weren't fried properly. They were mushy instead of having a crispy outside. Also they were not the same size.
2 weeks ago we ordered for pick up. Ordering no issue, they said 20 minutes, no issue. Got to the restaurant & the order was not ready, again, seriously not an issue. So we waited 5 minutes for the order that was just prepared got home & everything was cold. We live literally 7 minutes (with lights) from the restaurant. To spend the amount of money was fine, but to have to put everything in the microwave, including the pan fried dumplings that were just cooked was unacceptable. I understand bad nights & having to wait, but to get cold good not cool. After warming up the dumplings food was good & tasty. Tried calling but got disconnected 3 times.
This little gem is one of my fave places in the West Island now when I visit . The dumplings hand made to Order . Nice place clean, good service & price is great. It's not fast food so will take time to make but worth it. Get a half & half plate of 15 mix & order a hot & sour soup which is fantastic. Ate here twice in a week!
Good dumpling at reasonable price, they also sell frozen dumplings. The place is a bit small though, but cozy when empty. Service is rather quick too. I always get the wonton soup, steam dumplings, & a cold side. The food is quite tasty.
Amazing dumplings. Great for a quick meal. I like how they sell frozen dumplings they make so you can make them at home.
Overall a good dumpling place. Food: Dumplings were good. Not the absolute best, but I was certainly satisfied with them. There isn't much else on the menu though. We tried the cucumber salad & I'd give it a 3/5 Service: When we arrived, it was a cold day & the place was empty other than a couple at one table. We asked to sit at the tables furthest from the front door (because of the cold) but we were told that all of those tables were reserved. So we had to sit close to the door & deal with the cold. The "reserved" tables didn't have any "reserved" signs & remained unoccupied the whole time we were there. As we were paying our bill, a couple entered & were shown to one of the "reserved" tables without being asked if they had a reservation. They didn't appear to know the staff. I don't know why this happened, but I couldn't help but notice that the couple might have been chinese. I hope this is just a misunderstanding. Overall, it was a good meal. If I ever go back, I'll ask to sit away from the door again & see what happens.
Tried the steamed pork & coriander dumplings & the steamed pork & green onions dumplings. Loved the taste. Good potions. Fare price.
The space & atmosphere was nice & staff were welcoming. The peanut butter dumplings were good. The service was not great. We waited a long time for water & the appetizer plates took a long time to clear. The food was alright but when given the choice between fried or steamed dumplings, we were NOT told about the extra fee for fried dumplings which isn't right. At the end, they said they couldn't split any bills either which made it a bit more inconvenient.
Peanut butter dumplings & porc & green onion delicious. Cucumber salad was alright -- I will go back for the dumplings!
