Restaurant Maison Indian Curry, located in Parc-Extension, offers both North and South authentic Indian cuisine. South Indian cuisine is rice based. Rice is combined with lentils to make wonderful dosas, idlis and vadas. These items are glorious and delicious besides being nourishing and digestible. The South Indian food is a brilliant blend of flavors, colors, seasoning (a little hotter than North India food), nutritional balance, fragrance, taste, and visual appeal. A typical North Indian meal would consist of chappatis or parantha (unleavened flat breads), pilafs, dals, curries all seasoned with fresh ingredients. Tandoori cooking is a north Indian specialty and famous all over the world. Tandoori chicken, naan, tandoori kebabs and shrimps are a hit at Maison Indian Curry (Indian Curry House). The Masala dosa(Indian crêpe made by stuffing a dosa with a lightly cooked filling of potatoes, fried onions and spices) is also amongst the best in Montreal. The authentic food, friendly service and cozy ambiance will have you going back to Maison Indian Curry on a regular basis.
Reviews describe Maison Indian Curry House as offering authentic Indian flavors with generous portions at very reasonable prices, a vibe that is warm and welcoming, and service that is generally friendly and efficient. The menu earns praise for staples like butter chicken, korma, paneer, naan and a variety of curries, with many noting strong value whether dining in or ordering takeout, while also highlighting a cozy dining room and a bustling atmosphere, though a few reviews point to occasional inconsistencies in quality, heavy spice levels, or disturbances during service and some deliveries tasting a bit lacking.
Maison Indian Curry offers an exceptional dining experience with its delectable menu & inviting ambiance. The rich, aromatic flavors of their Indian cuisine, coupled with attentive service, make it a five-star destination for anyone seeking an authentic culinary journey. The diverse range of dishes caters to various palates, ensuring a memorable dining experience for both newcomers & seasoned Indian food enthusiasts. The cozy yet elegant atmosphere adds to the overall charm, making Maison Indian Curry a standout choice for those seeking a delightful gastronomic adventure. THIS IS ALI NOOR & THIS IS MY REVIEW
EDIT NOVEMBER 14: I recently got more food & my entire family got food poisoning from their lamb korma. The lamb tasted funky & it was very dry Exquisite flavors! The lamb dishes as well as the sambar soup are an absolute delight. Each bite of their biriyani is a symphony of spices & tenderness. The quality of the meat is outstanding, showcasing their commitment to excellence. A must-visit for authentic Indian cuisine!
Authentic, delicious, & generous are the three words i'd use to describe this place. Everything from the Samosas to the Lassi felt authentic & packed so much flavour. The texture of the fresh Naan was akin to a cloud, while the shrimp madrasi truly packed a spicy punch. Cherry on top; the portions were VERY generous & the prices absolutely reasonable. I recommend sharing the Channa Samosas as it could be an entire meal on its own.
Kulchas are not butter naan. Chicken curry is not kadhai chicken & paneer butter masala is never in a runny thin gravy with food coloring. Quite disappointed 😞

The food was good & served quickly. We were juste really disappointed with the pani puri (mashed potatoes with barely any spice or filling) the service is friendly. The appreciated how the place was clean. We recommend!
Great quality food. 10/10
We ordered Chicken curry, chicken seekh kebab & garlic naan.
Softest naan ever eaten. Delicious 😋
Indian style chicken recommended.
Very friendly staff. Quick service. Clean & hygienic dining area as well as restrooms.
Je visite ce restaurant depuis plus de 12 ans. Toujours la même qualité. J'adore.
