Restaurant Maison Indian Curry, located in Parc-Extension, offers both North and South authentic Indian cuisine. South Indian cuisine is rice based. Rice is combined with lentils to make wonderful dosas, idlis and vadas. These items are glorious and delicious besides being nourishing and digestible. The South Indian food is a brilliant blend of flavors, colors, seasoning (a little hotter than North India food), nutritional balance, fragrance, taste, and visual appeal. A typical North Indian meal would consist of chappatis or parantha (unleavened flat breads), pilafs, dals, curries all seasoned with fresh ingredients. Ordered the paneer karahi & it was so spicy I could not finish it, & I have a decent spice tolerance. There was no warning on the menu as with other spicy menu items. There should also be an option to select the spice level Besides that , the quality was decent

I have been a client for over 15 years, this restaurant is my favourite spot in Montreal! Great food, quality & quantity, & beautiful & cozy atmosphere at a very reasonable prices. The menu is super rich & diverse, it will keep you wanting to try more. Always recommend for all occasions.

EDIT NOVEMBER 14: I recently got more food & my entire family got food poisoning from their lamb korma. The lamb tasted funky & it was very dry Exquisite flavors! The lamb dishes as well as the sambar soup are an absolute delight. Each bite of their biriyani is a symphony of spices & tenderness. The quality of the meat is outstanding, showcasing their commitment to excellence. A must-visit for authentic Indian cuisine!
