Best steak I've had in Canada. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, centrally located around the corner from the ski lifts.

Nice atmosphere & decor.
Food was ok. Expected better quality food for price point. My steak was overcooked & fries quality was very poor.
Friendly staff, but service was slow even if the floor was quite empty.
Response: oui, je l'ai mentionné à notre serveur. Il m'a donné une justification plutôt flou sans solution. Je n'ai pas insisté pour un remplacement. Nous avions passé une belle journée & j'étais affamé après la longue attente.

Petit resto sympathique avec un menu très large. On étaient pas très sûrs au début mais nous avons été agréablement surpris. C'était beau à l'oeil & très bon. Burger brie excellent & cuisson du steak parfaite. On a trouvé les frites huileuses & pour ce qui est de la crème fouettée du dessert elle était un peu molasse.. Bonne ambiance lors de notre visite.

Lucas was an amazing server even tho I'm complicated with my steak & at first it was a bit to pink which is my mistake for asking medium rare, he took it back & it came back good. I would recommend eating here for 2 people spent 190$ with tip isn't bad

I don't understand the low reviews about this place. Like yes they sell a lot of fast food but also have options like steaks, salads. They location is super nice after a long day of skiing or snowboarding. Little pricier, I understand it due the location. If you are looking for a high end restaurant you can walk few meters more & go to Fairmont but in overall everyday my fiancée & I had amazing service & overall food was good for us. My go to is the wagyu burger or the filet mignon. Also their hot chocolate is good!

Location is key, Le Shack is located smack in the center of an entertainment area. Outdoor activities in the back, the terrace is opened straight to the musical stage in the front. We sat on the terrace enjoying the Fall's apricity, sipping our favorite drinks & contemplating the ongoing event in front of us. As for the food, my wife was pleased with the bbq chicken, my philly's steak on the other hand was not the best in town. The bread was announced as baguette bread but the sliced roasted beef was served on a bun, soft & very soggy, once dipped into the beef's juice, it crumbled down & lost in the juice. Our expectations weren't high for the food in a tourist destination as this, the ambiance made up all, the food was secondary.

Our server Luca was excellent. Polite, funny & made great conversation. He was charismatic & checked in with our table regularly. The Joe's Philly *Philly cheese steak sub was very tasty & the jus & fries were delicious. For a busy lunch on Canada Day 🇨🇦 the service was excellent & well worth going again!

Great place for dinner! Our server was amazing! She was very attentive & nice! Always checking in to see how we were doing. Very family friendly! For dinner, we had the shack burger, soup of the day (cauliflower chowder), calamari, filet mignon, Greek salad, kids chicken tender, & kids hot dog. The salad was fresh & tasty. Shack burger was on point. The steak was done to order, which was medium. Kids loved their food! Overall, great experience!

Idéalement situé au pied des pistes, nous nous sommes arrêté au Shack avec l'envie de déguster un bon Burger ! Pour moi le montagnard & pour mon chéri le vege Burger. Déjà à peine arrivés nous étions pris de haut par la personne qui assigne les places, cette dernière nous a ignoré pour installé un groupe qui est arrivé après nous. Après que je lui ai demande directement s'il y avait de la place, elle nous a fait patienter un peu avant de nous installer avec nonchalance. Notre serveur était lui sympathique, il nous a bien expliqué le menu, servi de l'eau rapidement... Quant aux burgers... La tranche de cheddar est une vulgaire tranche qu'on retrouve en paquet au supermarché, elle n'a aucun goût & n'est pas fondu. Pour le steak vege... on a du demander si ce n'était pas un vrai steak car il était absolument identique au mien alors que bon il y a des végétariens pour qui le goût de la viande les dégoûte désormais. Nous n'avons pas apprécié notre repas... Dommage car l'endroit est sympa

le shack is a great eatery. We were a group of 10 & the food was rather fast. I had the fillet mignon steak & it was phenomenal. It felt as if your biting into a cotton ball. Fried were a little overcooked & burnt, while the coleslaw & mushrooms were perfect. I would definitely come here every chance i get.

We order: - burger that it was over cooked & tasteless - Philly cheese sandwich; steak overcooked as well, the only thing that saved de sandwich was the sauce & the nice bread - the poutine was ok Bad food overall Service was good Place is pretty
