The food is good but not great, I read rave reviews & order burger which was best but it was just okayish nothing special. Views & vibe was amazing.
Came here for dinner one night while on a ski trip. The wait to sit inside was too long (hug football game going on) so my friends & I opted to dine outside.
I ordered the mac & cheese, which I have ordered in the past & heard was really good, & paid extra for the melted cheese on top added smoked meat. The mac & cheese was okay, but I was highly disappointed in the quality of the smoked meat. It tasted rubbery & was not what I was expecting. The melted cheese on top was also a scam as there was very little of it.
On top of that, the service wasn't that great. When we were trying to grab a server's attention to get our bills, he completely ignored us & went to who I think was a friend's table & started drinking (???) before finally noticing us. Very strange. The only thing that this place has going for itself is it's location as it's right at the bottom of the ski hill. Would recommend avoiding it & going somewhere else if possible.
It's unfortunate that Tremblant doesn't have many options.
Food was good, we had burgers & poutine. A little disappointing the gravy was not hot enough to melt the curd. Quebec being known for poutine & being in a ski village I expected a higher caliper on the basic poutine. Burgers great, add ons very expensive, & calamari was okay but I wasn't expecting it to be fantastic.
I'd eat here again 😋.
We stopped for lunch during a day of skiing. Service was fast, food was tasty & server was very attentive.
Great apres ski place, the nachos are good, great poutine aswell, they know what they are doing over there
Best part is the location & ambiance.
For $34 before tax, the burger & poutine was filling but definitely overpriced ski resort food.
Definitely a long wait for the kitchen.
After freezing our butts off on the slopes, we decided to grab an early lunch before heading back out. We landed at Le Shack mostly because they were the first place that could seat us-& honestly, timing matters when you're cold & hungry.
This place gets very busy right around lunchtime, so if you're rolling deep with a group, get there early. Once seated, service was solid & friendly. The food, however, was just okay. Nachos were fine but nothing memorable, & the chili wasn't exactly what I was hoping for after a cold morning on the mountain.
That said, it is a restaurant at the base of a ski resort, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. For me, Le Shack is less about the food & more about the vibe-it's a good place to unbuckle the boots, warm up, have a drink, & take a breather before deciding whether you've got another run in you.
Not a must-eat, but a perfectly acceptable ski-day pit stop.
Best steak I've had in Canada. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, centrally located around the corner from the ski lifts.
Le Shack Resto?Bar is a great place to stop for food & drinks right in the heart of the pedestrian village. The atmosphere is lively & relaxed, especially after a day of skiing or walking around, & the terrace setup makes it a fun spot to hang out with friends or family.
The menu has a good variety of pub-style favourites like burgers, fish & chips, & appetizers, & everything we tried tasted great. Service was friendly & the vibe really captures the Tremblant experience. Great food overall, just wish the portions were a little bigger.
Overall, a solid choice for a casual meal with good energy & a great location.
Only best part of this restaurant is the location. It's literally in the heart of Mont Tremblant ski village.
Huge line up during the lunch hours. We had to wait for quite some time. It gets very crowded during the weekend. Very loud music. Decor is good. Food is very average & pricey but the portion is very good.
