Came here for dinner one night while on a ski trip. The wait to sit inside was too long (hug football game going on) so my friends & I opted to dine outside.
I ordered the mac & cheese, which I have ordered in the past & heard was really good, & paid extra for the melted cheese on top added smoked meat. The mac & cheese was okay, but I was highly disappointed in the quality of the smoked meat. It tasted rubbery & was not what I was expecting. The melted cheese on top was also a scam as there was very little of it.
On top of that, the service wasn't that great. When we were trying to grab a server's attention to get our bills, he completely ignored us & went to who I think was a friend's table & started drinking (???) before finally noticing us. Very strange. The only thing that this place has going for itself is it's location as it's right at the bottom of the ski hill. Would recommend avoiding it & going somewhere else if possible.
It's unfortunate that Tremblant doesn't have many options.
Waited for 5-10 minutes with many servers walking by without even acknowledging us. I don't mind waiting but would be nice to have someone say hello we'll be with you shortly. Mac & cheese was really good. Cocktails were average. Atmosphere is very nice.
They offered an Impossible Burger, which I had without cheese to make it vegan-it was delicious, especially with the sautéed peppers.
My S/O had the beef fajitas, which came with avocado & veggies.
The food is on the pricier side, but that seems to be the trend in the area.
The ambience was lovely, & the service was pleasant as well.
After spending a long weekend in M.T, we dined at many restaurants. This was by far the worst service & the cheapest tasting food. We ordered the salmon, club sandwich, mac & cheese & chicken. We were not once asked if our meals were okay & waitress just came to us with our bills.
I never leave bad reviews but this place was a waste of my money & I don't want you to waste yours.
We have ordered mac & cheese & fish & chips. Both item tasted great. All staffs were friendly & behaved really well. Overall great experience.
Food was very good & fresh. I love the Mac & cheese. Very cheesy. Service was fast & efficient. Servers were nice. Pricey but expected from the place. It's my 2nd time here.
My partner loves the spicy fries.
I had the smoked pork poutine & it was absolutely perfect-flavorful & the portion was just right! I also grabbed the Mac N' Cheese with smoked brisket to go, & it was incredible. Highly recommend both if you're in the area!'
We ordered hot dog, Mac cheese, club sandwich. After a day of snowboarding & hungry, I couldn't find any taste in these food. Only thing I remember is the ketchup. The music & sports on tv is super loud.
This was my favorite restaurant for a die-for poutine in the past 2 years. I gave 5 stars & came at least twice a year, but no more. Something changed, they either have a new owner, or new menu or new cook, or no cook at all. The meals we ordered came exceptionally fast - most likely previously prepared & only heated up. If that is the case, that poutine I ordered came lukewarm, & the cheese didn't melt even a bit. The ordered adult hamburger was miniature in size... It's definitely not worth the money paid for it. The 3rd meal ordered was vegan salad... nothing spectacular, & the person didn't enjoy it either. The waiter came with a machine to pay even before we asked for it. She looked the screen to see how much was the tip selected (15%) & even didn't say thank you at the end. Therefore, it will be no next time in this restaurant, will go somewhere else next time.
Sometimes you have to stop & consider the location of where the restaurant is in order to make a fair assessment, so I will keep that in mind for my review. This restaurant was located right at the base of the luge track, so it is nicely located. Now, when you consider the location you can expect to pay a little more for the meal as...well.... location, location, location. But the prices weren't that far out of touch with a restaurant in the city. $22-29 for a burger is not out of the norm these days. The food was good, & we enjoyed it. The burger was ok. In that I mean, it tasted good & fresh, but it wasn't anything to text home about (sorry for you youngers, that is a play on anything to write home about...like you know a letty, no not an email, a letter you would put in a mailbox...you know what, never mind let's move on). The brisket mac & cheese was a really good size portion (don't let the picture fool you) & tasted so good. Their broiled it just before they served it, so the cheese had a nice crispyness to it. The other two burgers lined up the same as above, & were good but not knocking your socks off. Now, the poutine upgrade was very reasonable for $4. There was a good amount of cheese & the gravy was good. Now, let's talk about the fries. They were ok, I guess. Now, we are a dry snob family & will drive an hour or two for a good fry truck, but these fries just didn't hit the mark. They were thin, which is fine, but they were overcooked. Not crispy overcooked, like Sat in the oil too long overcooked. They weren't super hot either. Oh ya, when providing mayo, giving us a self serve pack of it really isn't the way to go in my opinion. The waiter was fantastic. He had a good sense of humour, & wasn't hovering all the time, but always showed up in time. All in all, the meal scratched the hunger itch, but at the price point I think it could have been just a little bett.
Our server Luca was excellent. Polite, funny & made great conversation. He was charismatic & checked in with our table regularly. The Joe's Philly *Philly cheese steak sub was very tasty & the jus & fries were delicious. For a busy lunch on Canada Day 🇨🇦 the service was excellent & well worth going again!
I had the smoked brisket Mac & cheese. The Mac & cheese complimented the brisket quite well together, however the brisket alone is quite salty. Service was very friendly & the setting is very cozy!
Nice place. Good ambiance. Good service. Ok food. Ordered a Mac & Cheese au Poulet Fumé. The chicken was not smoked. So I'm slightly disappointed. More like big chunks of dry, unseasoned chicken breast in a cheese pasta. Cheese sauce was good. Similar to a common alfredo sauce. I had a piece of bone in my plate, which is ok, no problem. But if you advertise smoked chicken, make smoked chicken. The place looks like a smokehouse so it would've been nice. It wasn't that busy at 9pm on a thursday.
Got the nachos & the sliders. Sliders were delicious! Didn't realize there were 3 different kinds when we ordered, but all were great! 1 was a regular burger, then there was a brie/arugula burger, & lastly a bacon burger. Nachos were regular, but go them with cheese & salsa. Overall nice experience when you're looking to be by the slopes in the action. Good service too!
We order: - burger that it was over cooked & tasteless - Philly cheese sandwich; steak overcooked as well, the only thing that saved de sandwich was the sauce & the nice bread - the poutine was ok Bad food overall Service was good Place is pretty
