Came here for dinner one night while on a ski trip. The wait to sit inside was too long (hug football game going on) so my friends & I opted to dine outside.
I ordered the mac & cheese, which I have ordered in the past & heard was really good, & paid extra for the melted cheese on top added smoked meat. The mac & cheese was okay, but I was highly disappointed in the quality of the smoked meat. It tasted rubbery & was not what I was expecting. The melted cheese on top was also a scam as there was very little of it.
On top of that, the service wasn't that great. When we were trying to grab a server's attention to get our bills, he completely ignored us & went to who I think was a friend's table & started drinking (???) before finally noticing us. Very strange. The only thing that this place has going for itself is it's location as it's right at the bottom of the ski hill. Would recommend avoiding it & going somewhere else if possible.
It's unfortunate that Tremblant doesn't have many options.
The food was bad, chicken in club sandwich looked & tasted like it sat for half a day. Drinks were mostly. Table service was good but being seated was extremely rude. The terrace is nice on a sunny day
Wait staff was incredibly friendly & quick. Prices were as expected for a tourist spot. Mixed drinks were excellent. Unfortunately the food was average. But overall a great experience for the night before a great day of snowboarding.
Excellent food & drink. Server was helpful in finding gluten free food for my spouse. She was a little slow in bringing another beer, but overall a good stop to warm up & enjoy the local cuisine.
After freezing our butts off on the slopes, we decided to grab an early lunch before heading back out. We landed at Le Shack mostly because they were the first place that could seat us-& honestly, timing matters when you're cold & hungry.
This place gets very busy right around lunchtime, so if you're rolling deep with a group, get there early. Once seated, service was solid & friendly. The food, however, was just okay. Nachos were fine but nothing memorable, & the chili wasn't exactly what I was hoping for after a cold morning on the mountain.
That said, it is a restaurant at the base of a ski resort, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. For me, Le Shack is less about the food & more about the vibe-it's a good place to unbuckle the boots, warm up, have a drink, & take a breather before deciding whether you've got another run in you.
Not a must-eat, but a perfectly acceptable ski-day pit stop.
Le Shack Resto?Bar is a great place to stop for food & drinks right in the heart of the pedestrian village. The atmosphere is lively & relaxed, especially after a day of skiing or walking around, & the terrace setup makes it a fun spot to hang out with friends or family.
The menu has a good variety of pub-style favourites like burgers, fish & chips, & appetizers, & everything we tried tasted great. Service was friendly & the vibe really captures the Tremblant experience. Great food overall, just wish the portions were a little bigger.
Overall, a solid choice for a casual meal with good energy & a great location.
Food is ok, service was terrible. I was seated outside at a table that was not even cleaned yet. It took over 25 minutes to get the old mess cleared & then another 20 to get drinks.
Stopped by Resto-Bar Le Shack for a cozy evening at Mont-Tremblant, & it turned out to be a really lovely experience! 🔥🍹
I tried the nachos & a raspberrytini, & both were quite good - the nachos were fresh, colorful, & loaded just right, while the drink had a perfect balance of flavor & presentation. Sitting by the fire-lit tables added a wonderful warmth & atmosphere, especially against the cool mountain evening. The flickering flames & view of the lively village square made it the perfect spot to unwind.
The staff were friendly & attentive, making the whole experience smooth & enjoyable. Overall, a great spot to relax with a drink, enjoy the ambience, & take in the Tremblant vibe. Would happily come back again!
Great place for food & drinks especially apres ski. Food was tasty. Service was good. Not cheap, but not awful
Why leaving bad review for a pub in a resort ? It is simple pub with pub food. Limited types of beer. Regardless of what rating you put this pub is a staple here in this village. Get a life & stop being picky. Nice French onion soup. Been coming here for years nothing wrong with a simple soup & a drink for lunch
Location is key, Le Shack is located smack in the center of an entertainment area. Outdoor activities in the back, the terrace is opened straight to the musical stage in the front. We sat on the terrace enjoying the Fall's apricity, sipping our favorite drinks & contemplating the ongoing event in front of us. As for the food, my wife was pleased with the bbq chicken, my philly's steak on the other hand was not the best in town. The bread was announced as baguette bread but the sliced roasted beef was served on a bun, soft & very soggy, once dipped into the beef's juice, it crumbled down & lost in the juice. Our expectations weren't high for the food in a tourist destination as this, the ambiance made up all, the food was secondary.
Enjoyed mid-afternoon drinks & a snack on a warm sunny day. The white sangria was delicious as the slushy lemonade. Nachos were tasty. What stood out was the warm & friendly service. Will be back!
We had checked out eating options before going there. This place appealed to us keeping in mind things like food served, type of cuisine, kids menu etc etc. Not to say that other restaurants were not good. Took us sometime to get in as they were crowded & it was the long weekend. We enjoyed the food & drinks we ordered. Prices were affordable & portions were nice. Service provided was professional & warm though wait time was longer than normal.
Brie was amazing, my waitress good tho she didn't present herself. My 2 stars goes the that my Espresso Martini tasted like end of a coffee pot water, no actual Espresso in there, basically also no alcohol. Basically drank a watered-down tia maria drink Totally do not recommend the Espresso Martini, the rest was good
Came here twice in one day. First was for a midday break to have a beer & the place was pretty busy. Waited an uncomfortably long time at the door but not a big deal as the servers were hustling to flip tables & get everyone in. Our first server was okay, greeted us quickly & got our drink order & then didn't see her again until I finally could flag her down to get the bill. Came back later in the day & had much more attentive service since it wasn't as busy. Always made sure we had beer! Can't comment on the food since we only had an order of fries but they were great. If you're looking for a place to have pitchers of beer this is it!
Not sure why this place is rated so low. Came for food & drinks after skiing, service & food is better than other places in town which were rated much higher. Burger is awesome, atmosphere is lively & prices are very fair for on-resort stuff
This became our go-to place this week - we came in for lunch/apres ski each day. Service was great every day except last night, which was really bad - server seemed to forget we existed. Took forever to get anything. Food is good, good drink selection, lots of options, & more reasonably priced than other places in the village.
I went there to stop after a hike. It was really great. The ambiance is just like I need it. I enjoyed my drink but the food was OK didn't order anything fancy though.
