Le Nil Bleu on St-Denis Street in Le Plateau is a rare Ethiopian restaurant to offer flavourful, yet exotic meals that patrons keep going back for. The cuisine at Le Nil Bleu is composed of lamb, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Le Nil bleu also offers combo plates which allow diners to sample several offerings. The exotic decor features art, musical instruments and print fabrics. The environment is intimate and relaxing. We now offer delivery!

Excellent meal, service & atmosphere! We stayed in the hotel above the restaurant for 4 days in the winter. The staff was very friendly & professional, every interaction they'd ask for an opportunity for service. Whether it be making coffee or helping with our bags. Finest hotel experience I've had in at least a decade.
The restaurant was lovely. Our waiter was very knowledgeable & accommodating. We had never had Ethiopian food & he explained the history behind each meal a the traditional way of eating it. The food itself was flavorful & filling. Took a solid nap after eating there.
100% would stay here & eat here again. Thank you very much for such a phenomenal weekend, from bed to table.

J'ai beaucoup aimé mon expérience ici. Les plats sont savoureux, le service professionnel, & que dire de la déco ! De plus, il est indiqué le niveau d'épice des plats, pour éviter les mauvaises surprises. Je reviendrai :)

2nd time I got to this restaurant & never again. Service sucked big time. We arrived at 18:30 for a Bday party (16 people). We were brought downstairs where ONLY one waiter was catering to 32 people. After ordering our cocktails, entrees & main dish, we received our entrees around 8pm...& our main dish arrived at 9:10pm....way too long in between services... Never again.

We just had a fantastic meal here! It was not too crowded but by the time we left it was bustling. Really good, fresh, flavorful. Wonderful attention from our server too. I highly recommend!

La nourriture était délicieuse & le service « aux petits oignons ». Tous les employés sur le plancher étaient vraiment gentils. Un restaurant qui vaut vraiment la peine d'être essayé.
L'ambiance est vraiment plaisante.
Les prix sont vraiment correct pour les portions généreuses.
Mon seul petit bémol/proposition est que la carte de vin pourrait être améliorer, dû moins selon mes goûts personnels.

Je vais dans ce restaurant depuis des années & je n'ai jamais été déçu. Les prix sont plus que raisonnables & la nourriture est tout simplement excellente.

Endroit cosy avec une belle déco.
La cuisine est excellente. Nous avons pris des plats à partager avec plusieurs petites préparations, très bien quand on ne connais pas la cuisine africaine.

Mon restaurant préféré à Montréal. Excellent service, personnel chaleureux & professionnel. Mets délicieux de l'entrée aux desserts incluant les cocktails, très belles expériences à chaque fois, très bons moments à partager. Je ne recommande aucun plat en particulier, car tout est bon (demandez à doser le piment comme vous le souhaitez), en revanche, je vous suggère de choisir le plat pour 2 personnes, vous pourrez goûter à tout pour environ 60$ pour les 2 personnes.
N'hésitez pas, allez y. Il y a un parking extérieur payant juste en face du restaurant si jamais vous ne trouvez pas de place sur les rues avoisinantes.
