About us

Le Nil Bleu on St-Denis Street in Le Plateau is a rare Ethiopian restaurant to offer flavourful, yet exotic meals that patrons keep going back for. The cuisine at Le Nil Bleu is composed of lamb, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Le Nil bleu also offers combo plates which allow diners to sample several offerings. The exotic decor features art, musical instruments and print fabrics. The environment is intimate and relaxing. We now offer delivery!

We have a beautiful special events floor that can accommodate 25 or more people, individualized music and service, African décor.
For groups of 25 minimum.
Located in Hotel Kutuma
Afro-Jazz each Friday starting at 7:30pm.
The private room can accommodate up to 35 people and equipped with projectors. Perfect for any type of events.
For groups of 35 to 50.

Bon moment & nourriture toujours aussi excellente (les portions sont bonnes). Par contre, on a eu de l'attente au moment de nous installer alors que la salle n'était pas pleine & service un peu lent. Mais on y retournera quand même car on aime toujours le cadre & l'ambiance.

Tout était délicieux. Les plats comme les breuvages! On a pris le menu dégustation végan. C'est tout juste si on n'a pas lécher l'assiette.
Léger bémol, il fait froid aux toilettes.

Simply the best Ethopian cuisine west of Addis Ababa & north of Washington, DC. Amazing offerings, lovely ambience & superior service ... have had nothing but amazing times there for nearly 30 years. Highly recommend checking it out (or returning if you're already a devotee)!
