Le Nil Bleu on St-Denis Street in Le Plateau is a rare Ethiopian restaurant to offer flavourful, yet exotic meals that patrons keep going back for. The cuisine at Le Nil Bleu is composed of lamb, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Le Nil bleu also offers combo plates which allow diners to sample several offerings. J'aime beaucoup la nourriture du Nil Bleu. C'est une belle expérience culinaire & belle ambiance.

Par contre, nous étions proche de la sortie d'urgence avec une réservation. J'ai trouvé cela désagréable. Il faisait froid & on était loin de tout.

Le spécial st valentin offrait une table d'hôte avec comme dessert une fondue au chocolat pour 15$ de plus. Je croyais que c'était une fondue servie à la table. Il fallait se déplacer jusqu'à l'avant du restaurant pour deux brochettes de fruit & le chocolat n'était pas fameux.

La nourriture était excellente. La présentation originale. Mais pour un repas du midi, le prix exorbitant qui a été chargé était identique à celui que l'on charge le soir. Le local était peu chauffé & nous avons gelés des pieds & des mains. Je ne pense pas y retourner.

Sambusa has nothing to see with the original midle east one. Yebeg tibs was very good but even not the original recipe. The Wine was very low quality.

Bonne ambiance, personnel discret & efficace. Plats originaux, variés & délicieux.
Le menu dégustation & une bonne idée pour tester les différents plats & est largement suffisant pour 2 personnes. Leur pain est une agréable découverte. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant.
Note:. Certains Plats sont très épicés chose que j'apprécie mais il vaut mieux peut être se renseigner avant de commander pour ceux qui ne mangent pas épicé.
