Le Cartet s`est rapidement imposé comme une table de choix pour les passants et les professionnels du Vieux-Montréal. Sandwichs frais et bien faits et l'incontournable tarte au citron qui évite la culpabilité. On mange sur de grandes tables de bois dans le charme de l'épicerie. Complètement à aire ouverte, le restaurant-boutique propose un décor épuré !

After so many year visiting Montreal, here is still one of my favor place to go for brunch. I had my usual "Canton" dish with fill with meat & tasty beans. The dark mocca with orange was a new try for me & I did not taste any orange aroma on it. Might as well go for regular dark mocca. Very attentive service & I enjoy the visit.
Went for a breakfast & coffee. Really beautiful vibes! Their food was hood but their coffee was really really good. The staff were friendly. It was a bit pricey but worth it! Recommend 👍🏻
Restaurant & food great. However, when paying for the bill, the %s of tip are not true. For example, the 15% was actually 17.5%, & on. Dishonesty & misleading. You don't need to trick people to get more tips.
The food is so delicious & the ambience was very nice. Our hostess & server were very friendly. We enjoyed our meals to the fullest. We will definitely return on our next trip to Montreal.
A great restaurant in downtown Montreal, that offers an impressive combination of Montreal's French culinary traditions & modern flair. The food quality was excellent, blending classic flavors with contemporary touches. Our server was nice & polite, although the service was a bit slow. The restaurant also sells a wide range of treats, sweets, chocolates, olive oil, jams, wines, & other gourmet items, On the downside, the prices were quite high for brunch, costing us more than 100$ ( us $ for 3 people). Additionally, it seemed like the restaurant was eager to turn tables quickly, as they brought us the bill before we had finished our coffee. Finding parking around noon on weekends was also a challenge, adding to the overall inconvenience.
Food was good & service was great, but at any given time there were 10 flies buzzing around us. Horses have a convenient tail to wave flies away while eating, but we don't & trying to eat while shooing flies every 20 seconds was at the least extremely distracting.
Resto intéressant pour le lunch, le menu est un peu restreint, les portions sont correctes, la tasse de latte est trop petite. Ce n'est pas un resto familial. C'est plutôt bruyant, on dirait que le haut plafond fait écho. Il faut s'attendre à payer 60$ & plus pour deux pour un déjeuner. Le service est excellent, bonne humeur & sourire.
Best breakfast we had in Montreal & one of the best poached eggs we had in years. Very inspired combination of flavors for the Nordique dish with capers & onions. The fruits were very fresh & the bread was yummy! Cappuccino was exactly how it should be, not too much milk - so we could still taste the good quality coffee. Pancakes were good, but the eggs stole the show.
Very delicious breakfast! We tried their pancakes & eggs with asparagus. Both are fresh & delicious! The pancake has a unique flavor of having a strong milk flavor. Not overly sweet. Our friend's grilled cheese with duck confit was delicious too. The vibe was nice & service efficient.
