Le Cartet s`est rapidement imposé comme une table de choix pour les passants et les professionnels du Vieux-Montréal. Sandwichs frais et bien faits et l'incontournable tarte au citron qui évite la culpabilité. On mange sur de grandes tables de bois dans le charme de l'épicerie. Complètement à aire ouverte, le restaurant-boutique propose un décor épuré !
Le Cartet Resto boutique est perçu comme un endroit chaleureux et efficace pour brunch et petit déjeuner, avec une offre variée allant des options saines aux plats plus copieux et des cafés excellents; plusieurs plats reviennent en tête comme le Canton ou le Lac Brome duck confit eggs Benedict, souvent loués pour leur goût et leurs portions, bien que certaines expériences montrent des écarts de qualité ou de température selon les jours; l'ambiance est généralement conviviale et confortable, parfois animée le week-end dans le Vieux Montréal, et le cadre ainsi que la terrasse extérieure séduisent; le service est fréquemment salué pour sa gentillesse et son efficacité, mais des retours mentionnent aussi des passages plus lents ou un service moins attentif lorsque l établissement est très occupé; si les tarifs peuvent sembler élevés, la constance de la qualité et le choix du menu justifient l expérience pour beaucoup, en particulier pour ceux qui visitent Montréal ou cherchent un endroit pratique pour démarrer la journée.
Popped in for a spot of breakfast, & I'm glad we did. The food that the wife & I had was amazing. I would definitely reccommend this bistro as a place to eat. After chatting a.little bit to our server, we got an interesting little history lesson on the differences between Canadian French & French French.
The restaurant was very crowded on a Saturday morning. I was surprised that we got seated so fast. Our server was really nice & took well care of us. The food was okay, it needed a little more flavour. Nonetheless, it was very good & I still enjoyed my time there. The breakfast is a little on the pricier side so make sure to plan this ahead.

Classic breakfast spot. Visiting from Calgary & staying downtown we came back 2 days in a row. Friendly staff, good breakfast & a lively environment. Not disappointed. Thank you for having us & look forward to visiting again
Nice place to visit. Minimalistic, but creative. We ordered breakfast they have a decent menu with a lot of choice & portion has a good amount of food. Place was crowded but we enjoyed it anyway
It was an excellent place for breakfast. The coffee was delicious, the service was impeccable, & the food was great. We enjoyed our experience very much.

Great spot for breakfast/brunch. We were able to make a last minute reservation for a party of 6 (including 2 kids).
Service was fantastic & very prompt. We even got a surprise curtesy portion of scrambled eggs for the youngest one, who was very hungry.
We ate at the outside patio & the ambiance was very nice.
Very good food. Excellent service. Came back the next day for another breakfast but the cafe was closed due to water main repairs on the street. We were disappointed as we were very much looking forward to it.
An interesting experience. This restaurant was not what I expected. The menu items were unique so not your typical eggs & toast kind of place. You cannot make any modifications to the menu so I was stuck with scrambled eggs. My eggs were served on a hot skillet so they were really overcooked. The meat was good. The food was overall tasty but coffee is not included so that would be nice to include. Also you have to pay extra for jam. Be ready to spend 30$ on breakfast for 1 person. I might go back & give it another chance.
