The duck was not tender; the flétan was undercooked. After being served it was very hard to get the attention of the staff for more beverages. I have been here before & have had good experiences, but this was not it.
Le serveur était gentil mais il semblait avoir trop de tables & il n'est pas venue nous voir souvent. Résultat après 2 heures pour un dîner, nous n'avons pas commandé de dessert ni café puisqu'il a pris trop de temps.

Très bonne place dans le centre-ville de Montréal pour manger dans une atmosphère élégante & détendue. Le service était très amical & la nourriture bien présentée & très bonne. Le tiramisu à la pistache est exceptionnel!
Le boulevardier is a restaurant that shows what it means to be a cut above the rest. The food was incredible, well thought out & presented with a clear idea in mind. The Sommelier, Jordan is a very knowledgeable & kind person who not only informs while he serves, but caters to your tastes while knowing his wine card inside & out. Our Waitress Nicole was very sweet, dedicated & clearly passionate about her work, being able to describe our plates with ease & knew her restaurant well. Jason, another waiter who guided us through our service, was funny, kind & attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there & definitely intend on going back, not only for the fantastic food, but for the kind staff as well

Overpriced!!! Charged CAD 34 for a glass of champagne that on the bill said was Tattinger, but was not the case. The whole dinner was CAD 250, so the champagne with 2 glasses represented 1/4 of the bill. Incredibly bad experience & cheating.
Went here for a date & the atmosphere & service were amazing. Our server & sommelier were quite helpful in deciding our meals/drinks. The food itself was high quality & flavourful. Definitely recommend 👏
Went for New Year's eve 8 course meal, it was 270$ per person for "8" courses & a glass of wine. I say "8" because one of the services is just a palette cleanser & they consider that as a service, which to me makes no sense. The portions were very small, although tasty. The service was very good, & the ambiance was okay, it was a little empty & music was very low. At midnight, despite the price, they served 10$ prosseco to everyone(I know the price because the waitor told us & showed us the bottle). I am being generous with four stars because I think it was way overpriced. I've eaten in better restaurants, with bigger portion for a third of that price (maybe it was because it was NYE, & they were milking people). I know the restaurant business is hard, but that was immensely overpriced, & left us disappointed walking out.
Excellent food in a beautiful atmosphere. We enjoyed the oysters, lamb confit & delicious beef tenderloin. Wines were excellent. Prompt, attentive service.
Absolutely loved our experience. The food was beyond expectation especially the appetizers & main courses. The service can be improved in small places. We were not provided a spoon for the egg parfait until requested. Our servers provided a very basic description of the food & daily specials based on limited English. Otherwise the experience overall was pretty good & we would recommend to friends.
Came on a whim & was wonderfully surprised by the food. We had oysters, egg parfait (must try!), & foie gras terrine with a side of smoked eel to start & walleye ballotine & lamb confit entrees. All were absolutely delightful & perfectly executed, inspired by classic French bistro dishes but elevated with a twist & less heavy. Pistachio tiramisu for dessert was not at the same level as the first two courses but still good. A few small misses with the service, may help if you speak French, but overall highly recommend for the amazing food & wonderful atmosphere. Reservations were also easy to get for a Friday evening.
This was the best meal I had in Montreal. The service was outstanding--the entire staff worked together to make it an unforgettable experience. Kudos to the chef as the duck & entire plate was cooked to perfection & the dessert blew my mind it was SO good! The pistachio tiramisu was out of this world! I was really in heaven with the entire meal. What really set them over the top was the fact that they have a beautiful tradition in which they brought a free digestive (bottle of yummy booze) over to our table & let us know we can go to another table (if we wanted to) & introduce ourselves, offer the the drink, & make a genuine connection with another table. I appreciate that the serving sizes in Canada are reasonable & healthy--not like the over-serving that happens in the U.S. It was the perfect amount of food to fill my stomach & not be too stuffed--perfectly satiated. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic date night or a warm, cozy dinner with friends or family. The place was clean, orderly, & quite impressive. The staff was lovely & speak both English & French. Thank you *so much* for your hard work & dedication to your craft. I highly recommend Le Boulevardier to anyone who visits Montreal! 10/10. If you're looking for a nice, delicious place to eat, you will not be let down if you try this place!
