La Fabrique de Bagel Montréal comes across as a warm, welcoming spot for breakfast or lunch, with fresh Montreal style bagels that are often crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a generous range of fillings and cream cheeses, and coffee that pairs well with the food; service is repeatedly described as quick, friendly, and attentive, creating a comfortable, unhurried vibe and making this place feel worth a visit, even for travelers, though a few reviews note price and occasional inconsistency, and some bagels are pre-made rather than freshly baked.
Amazing in house/ made from scratch bagels. Service was warm & welcoming.
Tried the multigrain bagel wih the Bacon/ Maple cream cheese. It was so good, i had to try one more bagel! This time the tomato pesto , which was ABSOLUTELY out of this world. If I could give 6 stars I would.
The morning we visited , they had about twelve selections of various cream , cheeses & half a dozen different bagels. Also available were a few bagel sandwiches, desserts , croissants & sesame snacks , which all looked mouth watering.
Fabulous choice but they don't clean their surfaces properly- ended up with fish on my sweet bagel 🤮. If you have any allergies I'd
be concerned about cross-contamination.
The omelette fromage bagel was good. The staff (girl with the long lash extensions) was a bit standoffish when I didn't speak French to her, & at one point she just looked at another French-speaking customer. Weird vibes.
Experience terrible
This place is seriously underrated. The bagels are fresh, delicious, & easily on par with (if not better than) the overhyped St-Viateur spots. It's tucked inside the World Trade Centre, so it's a bit hidden, but definitely worth finding. A great alternative if you want quality without the Instagram crowd.
Very nice place to chill & have breakfast or lunch. Had the prosciutto bagel with pear & Brie & it was amazing. Had a very high quality & filling taste. I am satisfied.
I absolutely loved this café/bagel shop-so much so that I'd genuinely go out of my way to come back, even all the way from Vancouver. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, welcoming, & effortlessly cozy. You can tell there's a lot of care put into every detail.
The bagels were fresh, perfectly textured, & easily some of the best I've had-crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, & paired with such delicious, high-quality ingredients. Everything tasted homemade & thoughtfully prepared. The coffee was just as impressive-rich, smooth, & the perfect complement to the food.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were genuinely kind, friendly, & made the whole experience feel special rather than rushed.
This place isn't just a quick stop-it's somewhere you want to sit, enjoy, & come back to. If I'm ever in the area again, it'll be one of my first stops without hesitation. Highly recommend!
