La Fabrique de Bagel Montréal comes across as a warm, welcoming spot for breakfast or lunch, with fresh Montreal style bagels that are often crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a generous range of fillings and cream cheeses, and coffee that pairs well with the food; service is repeatedly described as quick, friendly, and attentive, creating a comfortable, unhurried vibe and making this place feel worth a visit, even for travelers, though a few reviews note price and occasional inconsistency, and some bagels are pre-made rather than freshly baked.
Very nice place to chill & have breakfast or lunch. Had the prosciutto bagel with pear & Brie & it was amazing. Had a very high quality & filling taste. I am satisfied.

A terrific spot to grab breakfast or a light lunch. Staff are friendly (bilingual) & food was good - best cream cheese on our visit to Montreal. Sit down is in the common area of the building, but spaces are pretty well kept. Became our'go to' spot on the trip.
Went here for breakfast. Great little place. Has plenty of options for bagels, fruit cups, smoothies, & a variety of cream cheese. Staff is friendly & welcoming & speaks both French & English. Bagels are delicious & hearty - they go heavy on the cream cheese (Hooray!) Beautiful aesthetic & reasonable prices. Great for tourists. Check it out!!
Stopped by on a road trip to Montreal, after scouting around for breakfast/brunch spots open before 9am. They were quite busy this morning with a group of hotel guests in & out of a sports event, but the service was good & were accommodating with our many questions.
We got the three meat with cheese, prosciutto & brie, & salmon & cream cheese bagels. Honestly, I love Montreal bagels more than New York style & these bagels hit the spot!
The juices are also so good! Recommend the strawberry & banana or raspberry juice for a non-smoothie, non-caffeinated pick me up.
There's not much seating outside the storefront or inside the building.
As a New Yorker, I came in with high bagel expectations-& while the famed Montreal bagel didn't quite hit the same high notes, I can still appreciate its charm. These are not your oversized, doughy deli bagels; they're smaller, denser, slightly sweet, & wood-fired for a subtle crisp. It felt more like a junior version of what I'm used to, but that's more about style than quality.
What really stood out was the service-warm, attentive, & efficient. My bagel was served hot, fresh from the oven, & paired with a generous tea selection that made for a cozy, unhurried breakfast.
All in all, while the bagel itself may not have sparked a flavor revolution for this New Yorker, the experience was authentically Montreal: warm, welcoming, & full of character. Worth a visit for the cultural experience alone.

Very tasty & dynamic bagels with local styles at a convenient location, but admittedly food is quite expensive, three bagels cost almost 40CAD, many of the materials are very cheap like the cheese & bagel etc, they are sufficiently supplied in nearby Intercontinental's 20CAD / room breakfast.
This amount of salmon & prosciutto are not worth 40CAD, but I'm happy to support local business that hires local people☺?
I recently visited La Fabrique de Bagel in Montreal & enjoyed a delightful breakfast. I ordered an everything bagel with herb cream cheese & salmon, which was a perfect combination of flavors. The bagel was fresh & had a nice chew, while the herb cream cheese added a lovely, subtle kick that complemented the smoked salmon perfectly. It was simple yet satisfying. I paired it with a cappuccino, which was smooth & well-balanced, with just the right amount of foam. The cozy atmosphere & friendly service made the experience even better. If you're looking for a tasty & no-fuss breakfast spot in Montreal, La Fabrique de Bagel is worth a visit.
i ordered a smoked salmon bagel & a plain bagel at 8am on a work day, both were tasty but i felt like they were kind of hard. for early morning bagels, i would've expected them to be a bit crunchier & fresher but i didn't mind it that much. overall, would definitely recommend for a quick breakfast or snack! i know my mom regularly buys their blueberry bagels to bring home (every week or so).
The variety of bagels & options they offer is impressive. They make their bagels fresh, every morning; if you get there for breakfast, you can even order your bagel right out of the oven. You can choose from different flavors of cream cheese, jam, ham, turkey, bacon, avocado, cold-cuts, etc. They also offer fresh juices, granola bars, muffins, cookies, yogurt parfait, fruits, nuts, etc. I ordered smoked salmon bagel & enjoyed every bite of it.

Delicious bagels. So softy chewey & full of flavour. Came for breakfast with the wife. Definitely hit the spot. Grabbed some bagels for home as well. No photos was hungry.
Great food & warm, friendly service. The coffees & teas are hot & very tasty. We were only in Montreal for three days & we had breakfast here on two of the days. Highly recommended.
