Absolutely amazing Thai food! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor & clearly made with care & fresh ingredients. We had the Tom Yum soup, chicken pad Thai & red curry. Portion sizes were perfect. The customer service was outstanding-warm, attentive, & genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. They helped me bring the stroller up the stairs when we arrived & when we were leaving. The atmosphere was cozy & inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Great food, great hospitality, & a great overall experience. Highly recommend & will definitely be back!
Visited Montreal with my girlfriend for couple days & this is the only place we went to multiple times. Food was top notch, service was always friendly, if you like Thai food & don't come here it's unfortunate. We got the spice level above medium & asked for the spice powder on the side. We ordered the red & green curry, stir fried basil, & pad see ew. Absolutely cleared it up
I come here regularly, & it never disappoints. The food is full of flavor, always fresh, & beautifully presented. You can truly taste the care in every dish. The staff is friendly & welcoming, & the space is cozy without being crowded.
I highly recommend trying their Pad Thai or any of their curry dishes - everything is full of authentic Thai spices & cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, & the prices are very fair.

We had an incredible dining experience at Khao San Resto Thai, & I can confidently say it's a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors in Montreal!
We ordered a variety of dishes:
• Chicken Satay
• Red Curry Chicken & Rice
• Sweet & Sour Chicken
• Tofu Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice
• Chicken Noodle Soup
• Mango Sticky Rice
Every single dish was prepared to perfection - fresh ingredients, bold flavors, & beautiful presentation. My personal favorite was the Sweet & Sour Chicken with rice. The chicken was perfectly crispy, served with bell peppers, red chilies, onions, pineapple, & carrots. It delivered that perfect balance of sweet, sour, & spicy, paired with a generous portion of rice. Absolutely delicious!
The Chicken Satay was tender & flavorful with a rich peanut sauce, & the Red Curry Rice had the right amount of heat & creaminess. The Tofu Fried Rice was well-seasoned & satisfying, & the Chicken Noodle Soup offered a comforting, aromatic broth. To top it off, the Mango Sticky Rice was the perfect sweet ending - fresh, fragrant, & beautifully plated.
& for those who enjoy a good drink, don't miss out on their famous Singha & Chang beers - authentic Thai brews that really complete the experience.
The service was fantastic - the staff were genuinely kind, attentive, & ensured we had everything we needed. Our food arrived quickly, & we felt well taken care of throughout the meal.
If you're in Montreal & craving Thai cuisine, Khao San Resto Thai is a spot you shouldn't miss. We'll definitely be coming back!

Hidden gems I love the Thai food here green curry with rice & salad papaya are so good 👍 this is my 2 time & never disappoint it

Ordered the green curry with crispy chicken. Unfortunately crispy chicken was no longer crispy because it has been mixed with the green curry sauce. I though that they will put it on the side... dessert mango sticky rice is good but too expensive for the quantity (take away)
I tried it again when they had a happy hour special & the food was amazing. The curry wasnt split, I asked for spicy & it was flavourful! The noodles were great, sweet spicy & sour, overall really comforting! I gave a four because I had small mistakes each time but then again, they were so nice polite & sweet on the phone I hung up with a smile. I recommend.

As soon as you go in there is a massive window that overlooks the busy street. My boyfriend & I sat there. It was just the two of us for a lunch & it wasn't busy. As soon as we got in, the place had a smell of warmth & chilly like essense. We ordered a Green Curry 🍛 & a pad kra Pao with a fried egg, & of course some sticky rice. We shared everything. & it was so filling. I saved this spot. I'll go back again!
I love Thai food! What I love more is AUTHENTIC Thai food. Khao San Resto didn't disappoint at all. The food & service exceeded my expectations. Eating there truly brought back memories when I visited Thailand years ago. We ordered mango salad, red curry with shrimp, & beef stir fry with ginger. We also got vegetarian & shrimp Tom Yum soup. Our server was Gooi & she was great! I'm definitely coming back here to try more dishes!
Khao San Resto Thai is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. We couldn't stop eating & finished every dish we ordered. I highly recommend the Tom Kha Soup, green papaya salad, & red curry. They are all unique & full of flavor. If you are looking for authentic & tasty Thai food, this is the place to go. I wish I could lived in Montreal, so that I can go there every week!
I absolutely loved the food here & the service was excellent. We ordered the nam tok beef, stir fried basil, & green curry with the thought that we'd have leftovers for the weekend. However, everything was so delicious that we couldn't help but eat everything! I only wish I'd had room for more.

Service ultra sympathique & rapide. La serveuse était joviale & nous a fait des recommandations pour le menu. Pour ma part, je voulais un pad krapao (sauté au basilic & porc haché) & je le voulais le plus épicé possible. C'était épicé, & c'était très bon! J'ai pu goûté au curry vert de mon ami aussi & houlala... délicieux! Un tout petit peu cher à mon goût pour les portions qu'on nous a servis. Mais satisfaisit quand même.
Most authentic pad thai I've ever had in montreal. The bean sprouts were crunchy & the rice noodles were cooked perfectly. The red curry dish was perfectly spicy with a nice portion of rice.
Thé vert thaï était très sucré pour moi. Je choisirai le plus épicé pour curry la prochaine fois. Le porc frit était trop gras. Riz de la mange était délicieuse!
C'était vraiment délicieux. On a essayé les plats connus Thai comme curry, pad thai, riz ananas & les desserts. Les plats principaux étaient servis rapidement & délicieux en même temps. Pad thai n'était pas trop de grasse/huile. Personnellement, je trouvais que qu'il n'y avait pas assez de sauce tamarin. Je commente surtout pour les desserts. On a commandé le riz gluant avec de la mangue & avec du durian. C'était fantastique. On retournera pour ces desserts
