Genuinely my favourite Thai place in the city!!! this place is my go to & i recommend to all my friends. I believe the staff are Thai as they speak to us in thai & the flavours are authentic by our standards, at least. The food is absolutely delicious every-time, it is consistently good & the service is always impeccable. they are accommodating to taste & preferences & truly have the best energy. they are so welcoming & have the sweetest vibes! i will continue to recommend to everyone i know & i will stand by it. the pictures speak for themselves!
Best thai restaurant in Montreal. Staff is sooo sweet & the food you can tell is from the heart. Soo good really recommand. Also the inside is beautiful !
Absolutely amazing Thai food! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor & clearly made with care & fresh ingredients. We had the Tom Yum soup, chicken pad Thai & red curry. Portion sizes were perfect. The customer service was outstanding-warm, attentive, & genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. They helped me bring the stroller up the stairs when we arrived & when we were leaving. The atmosphere was cozy & inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Great food, great hospitality, & a great overall experience. Highly recommend & will definitely be back!
I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with the way I was treated at this restaurant. What happened was not just unprofessional, but extremely disrespectful. I want to remind the management that an Uber driver is also a customer & deserves the same level of respect as anyone else walking through your door.
I arrived on time to pick up an order, as expected. Instead of being acknowledged or informed about the wait time, I was completely ignored. When I politely asked about the status of the order, the staff responded with attitude & dismissive behavior, as if my time had no value at all. This is unacceptable. Uber drivers are not'less important' - we represent your business to your customers & help deliver your food, yet we are treated as if we don't matter.
Time is extremely important for delivery drivers. We are paid per order, not per hour, & unnecessary delays directly affect our income. If an order is not ready, the least you can do is communicate honestly & respectfully. Instead, I experienced rude behavior, lack of professionalism, & a complete disregard for basic courtesy.
Respect should not depend on whether someone is dining in, picking up food, or delivering it. A driver waiting for an order is still a customer & still deserves to be treated with dignity. Simple things like clear communication, basic politeness, & acknowledging someone's presence go a long way - & unfortunately, none of that was shown here.
I strongly encourage management to train staff on how to treat all people with respect, including delivery drivers. Without Uber drivers, many restaurants would lose a significant portion of their business. Mutual respect should be the standard, not an exception.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to other drivers or customers unless serious improvements are made in customer service & staff behavior. Respect people's time, communicate properly, & remember that professionalism matters.

It's an authentic Thai restaurant with truly Thai flavors. The owner & staff are Thai, so you can be confident that the food is prepared with genuine Thai taste. It was the happiest meal I've had, & beyond that, the staff are incredibly kind & provide exceptional service, making the whole dining experience truly wonderful. If you're looking for real Thai cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant-you won't be disappointed.
Couple months ago, this place was great & we would go with closed eyes. Last time, the food was less than average, the toilet is not heated so it's freezing, no running water to wash your hands. We took the dumplings, it says 5, we got 4 & asked why, the answer was'they bigger now'. But they were disgusting. Anyway, don't recommend anymore, will try another Thai spot near.

Real authentic Thai food. They were so warm & welcoming just like how it is in Thailand. Coming made me feel like i was back in Thailand again. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for some real Thai food. I had the papaya salad extra extra spicy 🥵 the chicken wings were nice & crispy. The pad thai was on point

Khao San Resto Thai has quickly become everyone in my family's favorite food to eat! The food is incredibly authentic - fresh ingredients, bold flavors, & just the right balance of spice. Every dish reminds me of being in Thailand! You can really tell there's a lot of heart behind everything they serve. If you're looking for real Thai food in Montreal, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

I would love to recommend Thai food here, it's very tasty & yum. Here is authentic Thai food, the owner of the restaurant has been very helpful & friendly with me as well. She made me spicy food as I requested as authentic Thai I never had it in Ottawa or Quebec
Amazing. Very authentic. The Larb Gai Tod (friend chicken spicy salad) was to die for. Khao soi was great but could use more pickled mustard in my opinion. Otherwise though was still very good. Highly recommend. Food is authentic & the ladies working are very nice.
I really enjoyed my time at khao san restaurant! I ordered the pad see ew & devoured it, because it's that good. In addition, I got a Thai green milk tea, so refreshing & good I can drink this all day every day! Lastly, the server was very welcoming & friendly.
Wow!! What a great experience with real Thai food & lovely friendly Thai staff warm of smile I recommend dessert mango sticky rice & tender beef Khaosoi I will be back again
