Really good Cantonese food. Get 185 beef stew in hot pot! It comes with bok choy. It's beef brisket in a rich beefy sauce.
I asked about allergens in Chinese & the server sort of indicated non-verbally none of the dishes I ordered contained peanuts.
However, I recommend you be extra cautious here if you have allergies. The dishes I ordered are ones I am familiar with so I didn't expect there to be peanuts anyway & asked as an extra precaution.
Servers gave us ample time to go over the menu & when I was ready I just made eye contact & they came over. I sat close to the cash.
I showed the server images of photos of the food I wanted & he understood. Bill was very reasonable & food came fast! They kindly packaged my food for me to go home & I went up to the cash to pay by visa. :)
42. Scallop ($10 per scallop with vermicelli) - tasty! I don't think there is butter but it's delicious. The vermicelli is so garlicky but light. Tender scallops.🤤
166. Green beans - ok…I've had better
185. Beef stew in hit pot (Ngau lam Bo)- ❤? absolutely delicious. A few bits of melted, almost jello-like beef tendon. Sits on a bed of bok choy. I will return just for this dish.
267. seafood congee - one size, big bowl. gingery, contains squid, shrimp.
262. small rice - heaping bowl
Our group of trio had the 4 person dinner with came with a plate of chicken, beef & veggie, deep fried fish, & sweet & sour pork. A big bowl of soup & rice were also included, but alas, no red bean soup for dessert. Excellent value & good tasting Cantonese style food for less than $70!
A local favorite that serves authentic Cantonese food that is characterized by using fresh ingredients & flavor it lightly. Seating area is tight. The kitchen is able to cook the orders relatively quickly.
Nice restaurant with a great choice of soups & drinks. Highly recommended.
Excellent food & good ambiance. The customer service is very bad, if almost non existant from my experience. I will probably go back & update if anything changes.
The general tao is good but a little bit spicy 🌶? & good portion overall.
C'était très bon, la bouffe était délicieuse! Mais l'intérieur était pas trop beau.
Les serveurs était agréables & le service était vite.
Authentic Cantonese eatery with old school style service, portions & the tastes that I remember as a kid. Restaurant has AC & clean, but nothing fancy. High value & hit the spot. Must eat when strolling through Chinatown!
They have the best fried rice I've ever had. Their other dishes such as general tao chicken, stuffed tofu or orange beef are also good, but the seafood fried rice is truly the star.
However, they use disposable plastic table cloth, which produces a lot of plastic waste.
Its always a good restaurant! Its been my childhood restaurant & my togo restaurant for any Chinese style meal. Yesterday meal was King Crab cook 2 ways with lobster cook two ways! One word: excellent!
We always dine here as a group! Very good ambience thanks to the staff, well seasoned food, & reasonable prices! Will be back again
Legit cantonese restaurant serving as good as hong kong level roast duck & fried rice. Razor clams another highlight, cleaned & steamed well
Very well priced delicious food with great service. Nothing fancy but very solid food & certainly one of the best dining experiences in China Town
Tasty food which was promptly served by friendly & helpful staff. Good size portions
Hungry? Smoka lil bit & ur taste buds gonna thank you. Sat at a table with strangers & shared many goodness. Beef w/ noodle - ask for the spicy
