We came here with a group of 10 & ordered the set menu. There was an impressive amount of food, & the portions were very generous, we even had leftovers to take home. The overall value was excellent considering how much we ate.
The food was good & tasted very authentic, though I did feel that a few dishes were a bit repetitive in terms of ingredients & preparation. Also, on this particular visit, several dishes leaned a little saltier than I would have preferred.
Service was what you'd typically expect from a busy Cantonese restaurant: efficient & straightforward. Overall, it's a solid spot for large family-style meals, especially if you're looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine & great value.
Delicious, authentic Chinese food - highly highly recommend! Visited twice in one week. Our favorites were pork collar stir fry, sweet & sour pork, steamed scallop & fried soft shell crab. Sadly they didn't have razor clams when we went. Lobster didn't have enough meat & gravy was a little too starchy/gloopy for my taste. Fish maw soup was basic but good. Really loved this place, full of elderly Cantonese speaking clientele. Just bring an empty stomach & no expectations for 3 star service ;)
This is an old-school style Cantonese restaurant. I ordered the clams with black bean sauce & the pea shoots with oyster mushrooms. The clams were okay; the veggies were good. The tea pot was great.
We had a gathering dinner at Keung Kee, the seafood was fresh, tasted great, & the portions were generous. If you're looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine, this is a great choice.
Best restaurant in Montreal for Cantonese cuisine. The seafood was amazing! 🤩
Nice Cantonese restaurant, the food is delicious & the servants are very kind & helpful
Delicious & authentic Cantonese food served here. I have been back to this restaurant every time i visit Chinatown in Montreal for the last 15 years. They serve generous portions & the food has never disappointed me. Love the beef chow fun, seafood chow mein (Hong Kong style), & the snow pea vegetables. Peeking duck is also excellent.
Really good Cantonese food. Get 185 beef stew in hot pot! It comes with bok choy. It's beef brisket in a rich beefy sauce.
I asked about allergens in Chinese & the server sort of indicated non-verbally none of the dishes I ordered contained peanuts.
However, I recommend you be extra cautious here if you have allergies. The dishes I ordered are ones I am familiar with so I didn't expect there to be peanuts anyway & asked as an extra precaution.
Servers gave us ample time to go over the menu & when I was ready I just made eye contact & they came over. I sat close to the cash.
I showed the server images of photos of the food I wanted & he understood. Bill was very reasonable & food came fast! They kindly packaged my food for me to go home & I went up to the cash to pay by visa. :)
42. Scallop ($10 per scallop with vermicelli) - tasty! I don't think there is butter but it's delicious. The vermicelli is so garlicky but light. Tender scallops.🤤
166. Green beans - ok…I've had better
185. Beef stew in hit pot (Ngau lam Bo)- ❤? absolutely delicious. A few bits of melted, almost jello-like beef tendon. Sits on a bed of bok choy. I will return just for this dish.
267. seafood congee - one size, big bowl. gingery, contains squid, shrimp.
262. small rice - heaping bowl
Our group of trio had the 4 person dinner with came with a plate of chicken, beef & veggie, deep fried fish, & sweet & sour pork. A big bowl of soup & rice were also included, but alas, no red bean soup for dessert. Excellent value & good tasting Cantonese style food for less than $70!
