As someone who knows authentic Cantonese food & born in Canton, I have to say the food here was phenomenal. The flavours were excellent & everything tasted very authentic.

Just manage your expectations when it comes to service & atmosphere-the restaurant is extremely busy, packed, & can feel a little chaotic. This is definitely a place you come for the food, not for a fancy dining experience.

If great Cantonese food is what you're after, though, this place absolutely delivers. I'd definitely come back for the food.

Definitely my favorite spot in Montreal. The food is very good; everything is so cheap but still delicious. I recommend it 100%, especially numbers 87, 88, & 110.

Both on it's own & per-dollar one of the best chinese restaurants in the city. Also one of the ones most like a restaurant you'd find in China, if you're the type of person who goes for that sort of thing. In that vein I would recommend going with family or a group of friends & splitting the orders for the table, the portion sizes more than encourage sharing, & who among us *really* only wants to try one thing at a big menu chinese restaurant anyways?

It seems that a lot of people are mistakenly reviewing Keung Kee as Restaurant Ethan. You can see for yourselves the difference in the photos. Ethan has wood tables & dimsum & is at the first floor. Keung Kee is on the second floor with white plastic table cloths.

Keung Kee has the best Cantonese seafood in Montreal.

The take out also tastes good.

Excellente nourriture!
