The bagels exhibit a delightful crispness & exceptional flavor. The pricing structure is notably competitive, especially considering the high quality of the offerings. The staff consistently demonstrates a welcoming demeanor & provides detailed explanations of the menu items; in particular, Ksikes offered exceptional patience & assistance during my ordering process. My recent order, which included a Western Omelet on an everything bagel & a large cappuccino, totaled $13.00. While the price point is reasonable, the bagel portion size & the strength of the cappuccino could potentially be enhanced. The establishment maintains an immaculate environment, even during periods of high customer volume. This establishment is highly recommended for individuals who appreciate quality bagels.
I had the Chocolate Bagel, it tasted delicious, the filling was very satisfying, it was heated before serving , the price of $1.85 is very economical for students & professionals alike. The one downside the portion size was somewhat smaller then expected. Location near downtown Concordia is also a plus for students & professionals.
Kettlemans Bagel is a delightful spot for bagel enthusiasts looking for fresh & delicious offerings. The store is clean & has a good atmosphere. The bagels are fresh, with several varieties to choose from. They also offer a selection of gourmet items, either to buy separately, or add to your bagel, such as artisanal cream cheeses & smoked salmon. They also have a few freshly made pastries. Their prices are good & acceptable However, my visit had a few downsides. When I inquired about a couple of sandwiches from the menu, I was disappointed to learn that some ingredients were unavailable. Additionally, I noticed a concerning issue: there were a few flies around the pastry section, occasionally landing on the pastries. This detracted from an otherwise good experience. Overall, while the food quality is commendable, attention to cleanliness in certain areas could be improved.
Bagles are on the small side. Coffee (especially ‚Dark Roast') is OK. Prices are reasonable. The choice of bagles is limited (only 2 kind available). Their ad shows about 11 to chose from. That must be on a good day 😉 I like the open bakery style, where you can watch the guys making the bagles👍🏻
9 times out of 10 it's really good. It has happened to me once that the bagel was hard & stale (at night). Usually it's really good & the price is very affordable. Just needs quality control when bagels are getting stale or old.
Great bagel shop in the heart of downtown Montreal but this morning they had no fresh bagels. Unacceptable for a 24/7 bagel shop. They offered me a 0.50$ discount on a bag of yesterdays bagels. It would be better to have two prices, one for fresh & one for supermarket grade plastic bagged bagels at the supermarket price.
It was so cool to be able to watch them make the bagels in front of us. The young woman at the counter was really sweet as well. My chocolate bagel was delicious however when I got home & began eating it, I bit into a piece of metal. Looks like from a wire brush possibly used to clean a stove? It really hurt my teeth/ but the bagel was delicious anyway. Also fairly priced I think for fresh hand made food.
