I went there this morning around 7ish for a bagel & coffee.... They didn't have any bagels ready. The shelves were all empty..... I don't think i need to say more about the irony ..
I was looking for the Montreal bagel experience & found Ketlemans. It looks like an old style bagel oven but cooked en masses. My smoked eat bagel on cheese n herb was excellent & her smoked salmon on pumpernickel.was superb. Coffee was good too.
Nice place to have a bagel coffee & work during the day. They also have free interned & friendly staff. Food is always good in this Ottawa staple that is now in Montreal. They also have kettleman popcorn, the best popcorn in Ottawa!

Bagles are on the small side. Coffee (especially ‚Dark Roast') is OK. Prices are reasonable. The choice of bagles is limited (only 2 kind available). Their ad shows about 11 to chose from. That must be on a good day 😉 I like the open bakery style, where you can watch the guys making the bagles👍🏻
The best made & freshest bagels 🥯. Totally yummy. I love my sesame bagel toasted with butter while drinking coffee. Oh! I have to get back there again soon. Well done!
Perfect Montreal-style bagles & fun to watch them making them. Good variety of fresh-made sandwiches, drip coffee, & take home options. Dill pickles cream cheese is the best!!
The bagels are unique to Montreal, the cream cheese seems generous & it feels pretty affordable to grab them. Lots of flavours & combinations to try. Wish they had more coffee. They do seem understaffed for the weekend & wait times can be a bit longer.

Split feelings, it was my first time visiting this place, super clean & not busy at all i was the only one in. Many people came but most order & leave. I got the breakfast bagle, never had a bagle that dry before. Took it in trio with some hashbrowns looking greassy things. Could not identify & taste was to much onions. Coffee was good, hot & strong. Not much info from this fast food place, try it out & see if you have a better experience.
We stopped by before Cirque du Soleil show to get some bagels & drinks, & after checking receipt I noticed that the cashier charged me for two extra drinks, which amounted to about extra $7 in total. I went to the register & it took him & a manager about 10 mins to issue credit for those imaginary drinks. Meanwhile, my bagel & coffee were getting cold. & nobody even apologized to me for overcharging & for the wait. It never happened to me in US so I would suggest to ask for receipt & verify the items.
Unfortunately this place is pretty poorly run. Took about 3 times of clarifying my order to the person taking it, & even then it came wrong (all I asked was no cheese on the bagel, nothing unusual) & I was never given a cup for my coffee & was rudely dismissed when I tried to clarify how I was able to get the coffee I paid for. Additionally all the garbages were completely overflowing. My guess is that not enough money is put into to paying tv employees well enough to care about anything or into training them properly. It’s pretty sad.
Food wise, I had the Combo 1 & the bagel was good but lacking in some kind of mayo or sauce or something, the latke was dense, & the coffee very average but that was expected.
Not my cup of tea/coffee.
Too much different from where I am from. Cold, no-effort, unattractive 24/7 coffeeshop. They need to change the products honestly.
Only baristas are friendly.
