A common thread is friendly, attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere that makes the brunch feel relaxed yet special. Very good place for brunch. Many pretty & tasty options. I've tried many, many brunch places in MTL &, from my knowledge, this is the first that does this scotch egg they do. It was delicious & very cool looking. Everything seems great on their menu & it all seems fresh & varied for everyone's tastes. Atmosphere is really nice in the place & service was good but a tad bit slow.

Well worth the wait! Wow very fun breakfast menu options. Perfectly cooked eggs & something for everyone. You get so much in your plate. I want to go back & try everything!! **Definitely go during the week day to skip the line that wraps around the front door.

The Scottish egg & carrot cake is phenomenal! Make sure you make reservations. They are quite busy!

The yogurt crème brûlée is very unique for people in diet. Scottish eggs are good. We had the mushroom one is a bit salty, the croissant is great. The wait time depends on, sometimes can go from 1 hour, sometimes 5-10mins

Do yourself a favour, bring a granola bar & wait in line for a table. It's worth the wait! The juice samples read delightful, great flavours & the "welcome" juice was delicious. Basil in juice? Who'd have thought!? The Croque Madame was unbelievable, scotch egg amazing & the Jambon brekkie plate was perfect. Excellent service! Thanks y'all, I will be back.

Best breakfast place!!! The sucré salé is great for someone who likes a bit of sweet in the morning, the bread was perfect & the overall taste is great though the combination of the sucres à la crème with eggs is not the best. The oeuf is boeuf is so rich in taste & complexe & it was better than the sucré salé. The service is so fast & professional, one of the best in Montréal by far.

The pancakes was a bit greasy & the Scottish eggs as well, too salty & a bit too strong flavored for me. Not my type.. The tartare sauce & salmon are really good.

Really cute place. Everything was good. The plate of viennoiseries was particularly nice. Friendly service if a bit slow. Most things are egg based, so if your idea of brunch does not include eggs, be warned. We had a great time, I recommend it

There are so many reasons this café is so loved. The variety, originality & quality of their food offerings are exceptional. The service is attentive, warm & well paced. The atmosphere is always convivial, low key, comfortable. The best café au lait! We enjoyed the Zucchini Loaf with Poached Eggs & the Waffles with Fried Chicken. Portions are generous. Price point is accurate. Note: even on a Monday this spot is busy; no lineups or waiting but busy nonetheless. So, we went for 10:00, no reservations, & were seated immediately.

Was excited to see what the hipe was about & sadly was very disappointed. We got there at opening & got a table fairly quickly. However it took close to an hour just to get our coffees despite reminding the waitress a few times. The Oeuf & Boeuf was VERY heavy & bland at the same time, so much sauce you could barely see the eggs. & the sugar shack special plate was also very underwhelming, small portion of soufflé eggs which were more scrambled then soufflé, 2-3 very small hard & stale pieces of oreille de criss, the pancakes were cardboard like. Sadly, for what we thought was a fancy breakfast place, turned out to be very expensive & not at all worth it. Just go to l'oeufrier for better eggs, pancakes & quick service 😅 oh & I'm also writing this while waiting for the waitress to give us the bill, over 20 min now waiting to leave...

The scotch egg was amazing. I would have taken an ostrich egg size one if it was available. The panko is light & crispy, just enough chorizo without overpowering the perfectly cooked egg. But the sausage was my favorite. So much meat flavor. 7$/sausage but I would have a bucket full, if I could. The latkas...by themselves my poor taste buds could not reconcile the overpowering beets (the latkas were also a bit too oily as well) BUT when you take a mouthfull of latkas, smoked salmon (there is a lot in the plate! No shrinkflation here), fresh dill & parsley, pickled onions & labné...oh WOW oh WOW! This plate comes alive. I would gladly re-order that dish again (to share so that I can enjoy a scotch egg & a couple of sausages). The carrot cake was worth it! Great pineapple & carrot butter. The mascarpone makes the whole thing work. Delish! 5 star service! A waitress who has good suggestions & is honest enough to help me save $$$ by letting me know 1 portion of carrot cake is big enough for 2 ppl totally deserves 5 stars for service.

Visited for breakfast on a weekday. Had the pulled beef eggs Benedict. It was certainly very good but a little too heavy for breakfast. I would opt for a healthier option next time. I would love to see a simple Eggs, Bacon, Sausage option.

Wow!! Perfect place for a romantic brunch 😍 we ordered Oeuf & Beuf (beef, running eggs, potatoes) & a slice of carrot cake. Let me say, it was a piece of art!!! The meet was unbelievably tender, eggs perfectly cooked, my matcha latte had flower petals inside & each time I took a sip, I smelled the flowers, so good! Do yourself a favor & get that carrot cake, my god!! It has a taste of honey & cinnamon, one of the best cakes in my life. The service was great too, all staff members were super friendly, got our order fast, even offered us a complimentary shot of the cocktail of the day. The only downside is that you need to wait for a table as it's a popular spot, but it's worth it. Well done!

One of my favorite brunch places in Montreal. Chic croissant was really good. The idea is to go there with a group of friends & share the food, cause everything is so delicious. Don't forget to always upgrade your eggs to the Scotch eggs, that's the best!
