Nous avons d'abord été attiré par le décor & l'ameublement du lieu qui sont très originaux. Nous avons ensuite été très bien servis incluant les shots de jus offerts par le restaurant & le support pour les sacoches… Le diable est dans le détail comme on dit!
Nous avons pris une assiette de Campi lequel est rempli de champignons & de sauces très savoureux, & une assiette d'oeufs bénédictins avec la sauce hollandaise & le boeuf… C'était vraiment délicieux! Les cappuccinos commandés à part étaient très bons aussi.
Pour un brunch qui sort de l'ordinaire (à s'attendre à un prix un peu plus élevé qu'une chaîne de restaurant ordinaire), c'est la place à visiter & à revisiter!
I had a fantastic experience at Janine Cafe! The service was quick & pleasant, portions were generous (not to mention delicious), & the decor was very charming. Prices are also reasonable for the overall quality of the experience.

Service impeccable mais les portions sont petites. On a pris le latkes & le sucré salé (qui avait plus de jambon qu'on pensait). Le décor était très cute aussi
Ok, this place was so good :) The service was incredibly friendly & attentive. There was a mix-up with my order, & they even brought me a cinnamon brioche as a thoughtful gesture, which was greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Janique & the entire team for being so welcoming.
The sandwich was delicious & well-balanced (even if a bit messy to eat!). The breaded chicken, pepper jelly, & salad were all perfectly executed & worked really well together.
The decor is a bit on the heavier side aesthetically (similar to its sister restaurant, Regine), but that's purely a matter of personal taste.
I left feeling very satisfied & even willing to give Regine a second chance because of how positive this experience was. I would definitely come back & would happily recommend this place!
There's so much to say about this place but I'll keep it short. First the service, its friendly, fast & maintains then ambiance they are curating for themselves (love it). Talking about ambiance I must say that it hit the spot for me, chique modest decor that adds character to the place, old style music that makes you feel peaceful, cheery & warm all at once. The food was quite good (egg benedict with duck), the texture of the ingredient is what you would expect from fresh ingredients, the flavors are well balanced, the drink menu has all the classics one would hope to have for brunch(the mimosas we're spot on & the expresso martini felt quite good). They got the five star not only from what I mentionned but the small details(you are greeted with fresh juice on the house, the staff made sure I was enjoying myself through out & then even let me stay after closure to finish my drink) I will be going back with friends to try out the rest of the menu. It was a great experience, big thank you to the staff !
Nous étions 7 personnes dont un enfant de 3 ans. Nous avons été très bien accueillis avec un set de table à colorier, des pastels, un biscuit à glacer & à décorer pour l'enfant. Le service était rapide & attentionné. Les plats étaient savoureux, copieux & à la hauteur de nos attentes. Juste 4 étoiles pour l'ambiance car l'espace est vite bruyant quand la salle se remplit. Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille.
Went with my friend to celebrate her bday. Such a lovely little place with a picture-worthy vibe & decor. & the service is attentive & personable.
Note: they don't take reservations, & the wait time varies depending on the day/ time.
Personnel très agréable, cuisine délicieuse & relativement copieuse. Prix un peu élevé. Cadre sympathique avec une jolie décoration ; les tables ne sont pas trop serrées.
