This is one of the most beautiful spots in montreal. Huge fans of the decor. Food was amazing. Do yourself a favor & order the carrot cake to share- INCREDIBLE. Amazing & attentive service as well. Will be back.

We got off to a rough start due to a mix up with the teas we ordered (1 jasmine, 1 english breakfast). On both counts, Earl Grey is what arrived at the table! The problem was eventually solved of course. The food was good. Good, but not great. Portion size is generous, which was nice to see. First time in a while we've had wait staff in a restaurant come & asked if we would like more hot water for our teas - this was appreciated. There's lots to choose from on the menu so we'll be back to discover more options.

I've been waiting for some time to get to Janine's. It did not disappoint! Loved everything on my plate as did my co-diners. Scotch egg was a treat. The mushrooms were so intense in mushroom flavour. Our waiter was polite, friendly & efficient. Cortado was perfect. I will definitely return.
