We were not supposed to go to jack astor's, but we ended up making the right choice! Thaïla was our server & she was very welcoming & sociable! She suggested the smoky bbq burger & it was amazing, great service overall

This is the second time coming here. The burger wasn't cooked properly & I got food poisoning. The waiter was really nice & she gave us the best service ever. First time me & my friend got sick from the nachos & it was a while ago & we took a chance & gave you guys a second chance. Not again. & the girl who seated us told us she could only give us a small table which didn't even have room for thr food on it but when her own friend who's Phillipino came she gave them a table with 4 seats for 2 people to sit there. Really makes a lit of sense. The waiter was the only good thing there.
I was with a group of people for someone's birthday. First of all they forgot my order & gave me my food when everyone else was finish eating.
Then my burger was burnt & over cooked.
I was so disappointed.
The waiter kept telling me he was alone in his section but it was only us in his section & 2 other people.
This happened January 19th, 2026 at 5:30 PM so you guys can go back & check who was working.
No apologies for giving me my food 20 minutes after everyone else WAS FINISH EATING BUT EXPECTED A 20% tip. Im so disappointed with the service & the quality of food.
The ambiance is always good & coloring on the table will always be fun.
Being going to this place since I was little, really good burgers & chicken tenders, I feel like the fajitas got a little worse in quality, Elvis table is also a cool feature.
Took me 31 years to muster the strength to go to Jack Astors because i always thought it would be trash like all those other vieux duluth chain locations only old peprula go to..
I was wrong. The burger was just perfect , mac & cheese good snd so many beers to choose from !!! What a spot !!!! Already came twice in 1 month. Great vibe in there too & the best part is the kids crayons makes for a very interesting date. Play some hangman… maybe draw a couple things ur supposed to when u had one too many moose head ipas
10/10 will come back for annother boorger with dable cheese
A little disappointed this time. All three people I was with said they wouldn't order their meal again.
Nothing wrong with the food, but nothing stand out either & when you're paying $20-30/meal I want something that stands out a bit. Older menu was better than the current one.
Messed up our order.
Be careful on the terrasse as there's a lot of sun, easy to bake & burn if you're not careful.
Easy to get to.
Plenty of parking.

Shannon provided an amazing service - such a warm & welcoming server. I rate her service a 10/10 the food & ambiance a 9/10. I ordered the curry & it was the perfect amount of heat as described by Shannon. My husband is not a big foodie but said the burger was very good - homemade beef & very tasty. Watching the team work together demonstrated true collaboration & organization. Great job!
We had fish tacos & the mushroom truffle burger. Both were delicious & I wouldn't hesitate ordering either again.
On the flip side, I don't recommend the poutine here. Something off about the sauce & the type of fries. The normal fries or sweet potato fries by themselves were way better.
Been a long time since I've been here, it has very much upscaled itself. The smell of stale beer & a floor covered with peanut shells is now a classy bar/restaurant.
Their Price's have gone up but that's life.
I ordered the holy burger with Caesar salad & on first glance the burger was small, but this was an illusion the bun is small but the burger filled me up with a juicy, slightly spicy taste that satisfied! The salad was very good side to it. The cold beer went great with the meal.

Nous avons très bien mangé. Double Burger, salade Buddha & calmars frits en plus de bonnes bières. Excellent bouffe & que dire de Dylan notre serveur. Aimable, sympathique & superbe service. Nous serons de retour c'est certain!
Need to get yourself a waiter, Ante's got you. Good service, good food, great fishbowl drinks. The only down was that if you are a walking stomach like me, the burgers were a tiny bit smaller than expected, but filling & really good nonetheless. All & all, real good stuff. & once again, i insist, Ante served our table very well.
My wife & I dropped by for a bite after a morning of doctors appts. Atmosphere was great & our server Rob made the break quite special. His positive & cheerful manner enhanced & already great meal. Holy Smoke burger all the way! 🤤
My husband & I go to Jack's on a regular basis & we are always satisfied with the food, drinks & the amazing friendly service we get from the staff. Friendly vibe & good food. We like the bar section for coziness & the comfortable seats in the booth section. Chicken burgers, burgers, lobster dips are our go to. Special thank you for Mandy for her great smile & for attending us so well.

I was at Jack Astors Dorval twice this week. Both times I had exceptional service. My order came as ordered (picky eater) & everything was hot & tasty. Brandy. Dylan & Stacy (assistant General Manager) went above & beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend their nachos, asiago bow ties, burgers & tacos! May I suggest the ownership group brings back their quesadillas. They were AMAZING. BRING THEM BACK!!!!!

Bar & grill restaurant located conveniently around corner of hyw 40 & sources bularvard, very popular for birthday parties if you are fun of king of rock, Elvis, there is corner table, section with all kinds of memobilia stuff for the 🤴 Better to reserve the table before hand especially during weekends, thy serve alcohol, of course it's bar, chicken wings, its american style meal, burgers, new york style steak, bistro, good vibe, waitress dress nicely, showing their most legs, of course it's bar bistro
