This location goes absolutely above & beyond! We regularly go as a family of 4 (with 2x 18m old twins) & the service is incredible (extra napkins, straws, etc). So kind & thoughtful, & amazing with kids. The biggest shout outs to Syeda, Cass & Bruno who have truly made our visits memorable & keep us coming back. Going without kids for lunch? - they've also got you & do the extra little things that stand out. Best location we have found so far!!
We went to the restaurant for family lunch to celebrate our son birthday, atmosphere was great with the music, it is a nice place for families, our waiter Quin was awesome, he took care of us all the time, he recommended the best drinks, helped a lot with some special requirements for our main dishes & food selection overall. Garlic bread is so good. We will be back for sure!

Weekday mornings are nice & quiet-perfect if you prefer to avoid noisy lounge crowds. Weeknights are calmer than weekends, but you might still want to reserve. It's an awesome place for group birthday celebrations, with good prices for generous portions. The staff is always kind & friendly. Great for a family dinner, or to catch a match by the bar!
Thank you for your attentive service in the bar on Trivia Night, Abi. I have enjoyed coming to the Dorval Jack Astor's for over a decade now. We can always count on positive vibes & an entertaining gathering, whether for staff meetings for example, or family outings. Birthday parties have been a big blast, especially in the Elvis corner booth. My favourite item on the menu is still the Thai coconut curry chicken bowl.
I got served by a young lady called Amanda & she was incredible really took care of my family. Just wanted to say one of the best Jack's I've been in a long time. Nice place & a really good atmosphere !
Decorated beautifully for the holidays. Julia was our beautiful server who suggested great drinks & food options for my family & I (I have MANY dietary restrictions). There was a little confusion in my husband's order but they fixed the issue quickly & were super nice about it! Such a great experience! Definitely, will be returning.
We always go to Jack Astor's for our family birthdays but tonight was really special. Our waitress for the evening was Peggy & she just happens to have the same birthday as our Grandma! We got to celebrate together 😁 she gave us excellent service. Always pleasant, smiling, great sense of humor! She was great at coming by regularly to check on but also giving us a chance to eat & chat ✅✅✅ had lots of favourite meals around the table, but my grandpa also tried the Asian wonton tacos with chicken & was extremely happy with his meal. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the fries were great as always. & had some DEELISH desserts 😃 extremely happy with our service this evening. Thanks again Peggy & team for a great experience & happy birthday once again!

Jack Astor's is a great place for delicious food & a lively atmosphere. The menu features a wide variety of tasty options, from juicy burgers to flavorful appetizers. The vibe is always fun, making it a perfect spot for hanging out with friends or grabbing a casual meal with family. The staff is friendly, & the service is usually quick, adding to the overall positive experience. The food & ambiance are excellent. I enjoy bringing my family here for dinner. Although it's becoming a bit pricey, it's still wonderful to visit occasionally.
Tried something different this time - bacon cheeseburger, with truffle fries ( as recommended by server, Troy I think). Very good! Bacon Cheeseburger was excellent & fries really tasty. Service is great here. We often choose here for family outings (multi generation). The Elvis corner table with banquette is our favourite seating spot!
