Waiter worked hard to serve us but got screwd by pos system. Added 18% tip but realized only 9% was added after reviewing bill at home

Never a bad experience at jack astors .. I had the goat cheese chicken wrap with sweet potato fries .. my mom had naked chicken tenders they were light & juicy tender ! My dad had the bruschetta appetizer so delicious .. Nikki was friendly & did a wonderful jo
Service was absolutely awful. Not a difficult order. It was simply chicken fingers & the wait ridiculous. It was a quiet night a lot of wait staff just getting things done. When we pointed out we still hadn't received our chicken fingers waitress said haven't you received them. When we said no, keep in mind she hadn't checked on us at any point, she blamed the kitchen. After we received them finally she never once checked on us until I asked for the bill.
Food was amazing aside from some minor complaints. We had Pad Thai, the buffalo blue crispy chicken sandwhich, & the smoke n BBQ sandwich. Nachos were good but way too salty. Smoke n BBQ sandwich tasted uniformly the same, like sauce & beef. Alright but would have preferred a slightly less melted palette. The shark attach soda drink was deliciously cute!
Being going to this place since I was little, really good burgers & chicken tenders, I feel like the fajitas got a little worse in quality, Elvis table is also a cool feature.

Amazing restaurant! Great prices, generous portions, & truly delicious food. I had The eggnog Christmas drink, the coconut chicken curry now & a Christmas caramel dessert. The décor is impeccable. Ante was exceptionally attentive, & the manager was just as welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks a lot!
The Hunter chicken is sooo good!! :) the servers are the best! :) I like this place because it's not so rowdy but you still get that bar & grill vibe :)

Hunter's chicken plate was delicious except for the sauce that was a too salty & my waiter Phil provided an amazing service! 9 out of ten, would come again!

Thank you for your attentive service in the bar on Trivia Night, Abi. I have enjoyed coming to the Dorval Jack Astor's for over a decade now. We can always count on positive vibes & an entertaining gathering, whether for staff meetings for example, or family outings. Birthday parties have been a big blast, especially in the Elvis corner booth. My favourite item on the menu is still the Thai coconut curry chicken bowl.
Nachos great but Breaded chicken tasted like nothing, sauces over-diluted, & tasted bad. Waiter by name Phil got so pissed off after receiving tips less than 20% & immediately stopped service & left while growling audibly.

2024: the Sleigh my Name was great, kinda like a holiday margarita. The Nog Bomb tasted just like Egg Nog but there is definitely alcohol in there. The steak with the lobster shrimp crab topping was great. Even the vegetables were good. The potatoes could have used some salt & seasoning though. Guacamole appetizer was okay, nice chips & salsa but could season the guacamole more. Sticky toffee pudding was made well, way too heavy on the ice cream though. Fun decor for December. Attentive service. 2023: Whiskey business was a great cocktail. The chicken & bowtie pasta with the bacon & mushrooms was delicious. Mango mojito wasn't mixed well with all the sweetness at the bottom. Vanilla cold brew just tasted like Kahlua. Brownie baked into a cookie was delicious but really should be served with ice cream like other places. Usually play good music, fun decor. Nice terrasse. Service was friendly & efficient.
Always a good time at Jack Astor's. We've been coming to this location for over 20 years & have yet to have a bad meal! Had the Chicken finger this time & they were delicious as always. Try their new dessert, the sticky toffee pudding, it was delightful! Also our server Peggy was helpful, knowledgeable & over all amazing!
We just had an amazing night at Jack Astor's. We have been coming here for over 10 years & the experience has only gotten better. We had the beef nachos, chicken tacos, honey garlic chicken wings, & the garlic pan bread. Everything was cooked to perfection. Wings were saucy & crispy, nachos were cheesy & crunchy. The garlic bread was absolutely delicious as always. We were told the kitchen is under new management & if the food we had tonight was any indication it's going in the right direction. They have decorated for Christmas & the ambiance is wonderful & festive. Our server (shout out to Julia) was absolutely fantastic, very attentive & helpful. Highly recommend if your looking for a fun night out. & the fishbowl cocktails are delicious ❤️
We always go to Jack Astor's for our family birthdays but tonight was really special. Our waitress for the evening was Peggy & she just happens to have the same birthday as our Grandma! We got to celebrate together 😁 she gave us excellent service. Always pleasant, smiling, great sense of humor! She was great at coming by regularly to check on but also giving us a chance to eat & chat ✅✅✅ had lots of favourite meals around the table, but my grandpa also tried the Asian wonton tacos with chicken & was extremely happy with his meal. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the fries were great as always. & had some DEELISH desserts 😃 extremely happy with our service this evening. Thanks again Peggy & team for a great experience & happy birthday once again!
